Amazing Hollywood Tablescapes from BASH Conference
Back in 2015 I attended one of my first conferences as a blogger. BASH was for party planners and those who blog about parties. I was doing a lot more with themed tables and parties at that time and was excited about attending. The speakers were wonderful, the parties were fun, but the thing I enjoyed the most was the tabletop competition the last night of the event. This was a premier presentation of creativity and skill in tabletop design.n . With Sunday night being the Oscars, I thought you might enjoy a little peek back at these Hollywood themed tables.
My new dear friend, Latasha Evans of A Posh Party by Latasha created this spectacular tribute to classic Hollywood movie stars. I happened to join Latasha at her table, therefore I know a little more about her details. Substituting for place cards we each had an oval mirror with gold letters stating “glamourous”, “amazing” and more wonderful complements. Each of us seated at the table also received a crystal perfume bottle and long-stemmed white rose as a gift from our hostess.
This dazzling BASH-themed centerpiece mimicked the BASH Conference logo perfectly. This was created by Keisha Sibert of Cupcake Wishes and Birthday Dreams.
The contest was judged by Eddie Ross, Jennifer Sbranti of HWTM and Kim Stoegbauer of TomKat Studio. It was not the contest that made it wonderful, it was just having the opportunity to view all of these amazing tables.
Laura Aguirre was inspired by the Hollywood sign with her table decked with film reels, feathered fans, those sparkly “HOLLYWOOD” letters, a vintage camera and an adorable Shirley Temple cutout. Laura is the creative mind behind Laura’s little Party.
For me this table says “City of Angels”. The tablescape table featured gold and white angel wings throughout the design and each chair was decorated with a feathery pair of white angel wings.
The table below was the winner of the competition, earning Montrilla Jones of Lavender Pudding Event Planning a free ticket to BASHConf16! Notice the little velvet rope which surrounded her centerpiece.
I tried to snap as many pictures as possible before they insisted we sit down to begin our dinner. I hope you enjoy all of these and they inspire you to create amazing tablescapes yourself! I was amazed at this substantial centerpiece which anchored this table with its Art Deco theme.
Ashley Marie of Your Jubilee created this fantastic Hollywood Hills table. She went above and beyond with stylish Ghost chairs, a shimmery gold backdrop, and surrounded her table with a red velvet rope! Make sure you are invited before you enter!
This table glows with sparkling lights, both in the centerpiece and radiating out beneath the beautiful tulle runner. Kim from The Partiologist made her entire tabletop sparkle and glow.
The incredible flowers stole my heart on this table. This beautiful table was designed by Emily Cann, the woman behind B Lovely Events. Emily obviously has incredible talent when it comes to working with florals. Sprays of phalaenopsis orchids, dendrobium orchids and calla lilies were only the beginning of the touches that made Laura’s table so stunning.
Donna Martin of Swishprintables created this beautiful Hollywood tablescape around the theme, “Singin’ In The Rain”, complete with a lamp post at the center or her table, surrounded by glittery golden dancers.
How about this fun cinema themed Hollywood table? I absolutely adore those masks at each guests’ plate, don’t you?
Check out the detail of these incredibly unique menu cards and how they mimic the branch which anchors the centerpiece of the table.
Crystal candelabras decked with white roses and gold candles set the standard for Hollywood glamour at this stunning table. Gold flatware and gold sunburst chargers scream, WOW!
Unfortunately at this time I don’t have all the names of the participants to attach to their tables. If you were a competitor, please message me and I will update this information for all of my readers and link back to your website! If I somehow missed photographing your table and you would like me to add a photo of your table, let me know!
What an incredible event!!! These tables are over the top gorgeous. I had a peek at Keisha’s stunning table and Montrilla’s winning one on Facebook. Each one shown here is amazing. Happy that you had the chance to attend and thank you for sharing these. Lots of inspiration!
The tables were AMAZING! I was so lucky to attend! I saw you are consolidating over to Sweet Sensations, enjoy the simpler life!
What a fabulous time you must have had! I have enjoyed pouring over the photos and visiting the links you included, thanks so much!
Jenna, It was amazing! My first conference, but it won’t be my last! I was so inspired!
What a fun event. I loved looking at all of your pictures of the beautiful tablescapes. It seems like black and gold was a popular color scheme. I guess it goes along with that old Hollywood glamour feel. I hope you had a great time at the conference.
I don’t know for sure, but I believe they were given those colors and Hollywood for a theme.
Every table is so stunning! You were lucky to attend such an event. What fun you must have had. Thanks for posting. Valerie
Hi I love your city of Angel table, I wanted to do a angel theme for my wedding and was wondering if you can give me some ideas.
This is a perfect time of year to begin making plans for an angle themed wedding, because my best suggestion is feathers and angel wings. I know this time of year you can buy angel wings at Halloween costume stores. Buy some large wings and hang them in your venue, or add them to white floral or feather wreaths to hang on walls or doors. You can also find white angel wing Christmas ornaments and use them on tables. You could use them as napkin rings or spray paint branches white and hang the tiny feather ornaments from them. You could also add dangling crystal ornaments from the branches. I hope this gets you started! Best wishes with all of your plans.
Thanks…..
The “City of Angels” angel wing napkin rings are nothing short of outstanding. Are the rings available anywhere or can I make them? Superb!
These were from an event several years ago, I didn’t make them, I was just taking pictures of the tables others had styled.
Oh my gosh!!! They are all so absolutely beautiful!!! I could never be a judge for something like that. All the black and gold is exquisite!! Hope you are having a great weekend! Hugs!
I love love love the photos box table. I would love to make one for my wedding. So you know what supplies were used?
I am sorry I don’t know Del. They were having a competition where guests were voting on the different tables, so they did not have them identified as to who styled each table. I will do some research and see if I can track it down for you.
