Celebrate Your Story #73

I hope you had a joyous Easter, happy Passover or are just enjoying lovely Springtime weather!  I am blessed to have my son and daughter in law visiting for a whole week here in Florida!  Have you seen all the drama about my fireplace here at Celebrate and Decorate?  It was ugly, we shiplapped it, and then we had termites, but finally, this week the new and VERY improved fireplace will be done!  I can’t wait to share it with all of you!  Now, let’s party!

Featured links from last week:

I know, I am not the one who usually picks a recipe, but my first feature this week is these amazing Coconut Bunny Pound Cakes from Olla-Podrida!  Pattie struggled with her Nordic Ware pan, but aren’t these bunnies darling?  My downfall, I LOVE cake and I LOVE coconut! You can’t sneak by me with a beautiful table like Dining with the Nobles from Etched in Colloquy!  This is my second feature this week and I find this absolutely stunning!  You have to visit and see all of the gorgeous details!Sandra and I are shaking it all up this week!  I selected a recipe and she selected this pretty DIY project for one of her features.  This beautiful Wood Box Rustic Floral Arrangement was linked up by Rosemary & Thyme.  I think we are all going to be on the lookout for similar boxes!  The second link Sandra chose to feature is these really creative Sugar Cookie Flower Pots with Strawberry Roses from Somewhat Simple.  I know when I saw these I had to call my daughter in law over to take a look.  She blogs about cooking and baking with food allergies at Champagne and Frites.  She loves creative ways to present food and these little strawberry roses are adorable!  I thought they would be perfect for a bridal shower!

The most clicked link last week was The Dedicated House‘s post about her entry in the One Room Challenge.  I have yet to take on a ORC, but I am tempted to!  Any advice any of you have would be appreciated!

  1. Thank you Chloe! I hopped over to your DIL’s blog, what a doll, and bless her heart, all those allergies! Love the features this week!

  2. Chloe, Thanks for hosting this weekly inspirational party. There is always so much to see, make and enjoy. It’s also a treat to see my scape as a feature; thanks very much. Have a nice evening!

  3. I wish people would not post to so many sites. I see so many posts multiple times! I do not enjoy your site anymore on “party” days. I understand that you have no control over who posts. I will view you blog on other days

    1. I am sorry Jean. Bloggers are just trying to get more traffic and link parties are one way of doing it. I only host a party on Mondays and I limit the number of guest links to 100. I know I don’t like visiting the ones with 500 or more links on them. Thank you for visiting the other posts I share, I appreciate your comments and you as a reader! Let me know what you would like to see more of! I would love to hear from you more often.

  4. Thanks for the feature! Those bunny cakes were so good that I bought myself a new Bundt pan and a can of Baker’s Joy and am going to make it again in a larger size…and I’m not sharing! 😉
