Celebrate Summer With a Frozen Ice Cream Social
I was provided a tree and ornaments by Treetopia. Â No other compensation was given and all opinions are mine, exclusively. Â .Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
How about we celebrate summer with a Frozen Themed Ice Cream Social?
Treetopia invited me to join a fun blog hop celebrating summer with an ice cream social. Â I was invited to select one of their colorful Christmas trees and knew just how I would celebrate! Â I selected the Baby Blue, seven and a half foot tree with clear white lights. Â Those shimmery balls? Â Those are Treetopia’s First Frost Iridescent Christmas ornaments, they even sound like Elsa would have spun those, don’t they?
This is just the tree that Elsa from Frozen would have selected! Â To decorate, I wanted it to appear like Elsa herself had used her magic and transformed my tree into an icy wonderland dripping with crystal icicles, spheres of iridescent ice and frosty snowballs and snowflakes!
I have two granddaughters, so you know they love everything about Frozen, and this tree was no exception! Â To make it extra special, I hung crystal rock candy from the tree so guests could grab a little treat right from the tree!
This set the perfect backdrop for Frozen inspired ice cream sundaes. Â guests could help themselves from silver and blue candy toppings. Â For those too impatient to fuss with toppings, they could just add a little candy Olaf or snowflake to their frosty treat! What a wonderful way to celebrate National Ice Cream Month! Â Gather friends and family and serve up this cool treat in your favorite way! Â
A gathering this special deserves special ice cream, so I mixed up a couple of batches of our favorite homemade ice cream! Â It doesn’t take too much work, and is SO worth the time and effort! Â You can read all about it right here!
Swizzle sticks of rock candy seemed to be a popular choice instead of spoons! Â Serve up some frozen fun this summer with a Frozen themed ice cream social!
I enjoyed turning on my tree lights the night before my ice cream social and wanted to share a couple of the magical images with you. Â I think I will have to invite Elsa and Olaf to come and visit my blue tree again for Christmas! Â
The best part of this Ice Cream Social? Â Treetopia is giving YOU a chance to WINÂ one of two $100 Treetopia gift cards to use toward the colorful tree or some of their beautiful ornaments! Â Here is the link to enter!
What is your favorite summertime ice cream treat? Â If you had a Christmas tree that wasn’t green, what color would you choose?
I will be sharing this at the following link party: Â The ScoopÂ
Wow, Chloe, you really are burning the candle on both ends with two concurrent blog hops! The Frozen concept is a cute theme for your granddaughters’ enjoyment as part of Christmas in July.
I didn’t want to turn down the opportunity for my free new tree when Treetopia invited me to join them! On top of that, Hometalk asked me to do a ‘fill in’ LIVE on Facebook today at 1 PM! What do they say…”ask a busy person….”
Chloe. What a fun Christmas in July…homemadeice cream is a favorite at my house. I am amazed at how you do it all??
Oh Pam, sometimes I wonder myself! As if I didn’t have enough going on, Hometalk asked at 4 PM yesterday if I could do a Facebook Live today! Thank goodness I had a project already completed and posted both on the blog and on Hometalk! A quick run to Joann’s this morning and I will be ready to go! But, yes, I was mixing plaster of paris at 10 PM last night! That vacation cruise last month is now just a distant memory!
Over the top Chloe! Love the blue tree and all the fabulous Elsa details! Your granddaughters must think you are a fairy godmother grandmother!!
Thank you Jenna! My granddaughters do love their “CC”!
Your tree came out gorgeous Chloe. Love the Frozen theme.
Thank you so much Jennifer, your DIY ornaments are adorable! You are really creative coming up with new ideas every summer!
Christmas in July, how cool is this (no pun intended). The tree is a lovely shade of blue and what a welcome change from the traditional green. The theme is absolutely perfect and I bet any little girl would love this.!
Thank you Sandra, It was a surprise that Treetopia contacted me, but I am really pleased with the blue tree and look forward to using it again at Christmastime!
So much fun!
Thank you so much Michelle, it was a lot of fun!!
