Celebrate Your Story! #113

Link Party

I am so excited to “celebrate my story” with you tonight.   My daughter, Kacey is going to be joining me here at Celebrate and Decorate!  She has been helping me for several months now with behind the scenes work, but look for her first post in the coming weeks!  I am so happy to have her on board and glad to have the perspective of a thirty-something added to the mix here!  I know you will all welcome her with open arms and hearts and I am hoping this summer to be able to get her to join me at Haven!  Of course, I might have to send Papa (grandpa) up to New Jersey to help out with our granddaughters if I think that is going to happen!  Okay…let’s see what your stories are this week!

The most clicked link last week was this phenomenal house flip! You would be amazed if you saw the before and after photos.  To see for yourself head over to Me and My Captain!

My first feature from last week was My Thrift Store Addiction’s Five Thrifty Tips for Keeping a Cozy Home During Winter Months.  The idea of hanging fragrant herbs inside to dry would work year round, but fresh greens in the winter can be so welcoming.  For some other great ideas, I would definitely recommend checking out this post!

This photo says it all, these DIY paper flowers are just gorgeous.  If you are feeling crafty this week check out all the instructions at Burlap and Blue  to create this stunning piece to dress up any occasion.

Sandra’s first pick from last week were these delectable Sweet Berry Croissants. Lolly Jane shared this great recipe which would be perfect for a special brunch or breakfast.

Sandra’s second feature provided some very important tips for baking.  I know my own daughter questioned why her cookies turned out so fluffy at Christmas this year, and this post from A Crafty Homemaker will explain exactly why!
