Celebrate Your Story! #121

Link Party

Happy Monday!  I hope your week has started off on a great note!  I had a busy weekend.  My husband and I drove a car back from Florida to Ohio and endured some of the bad weather between Chattanooga and Cincinnati.  For all of you who are enduring the bad winter weather, hang in there, not just spring, but also, springtime weather will be coming!  I had a lovely dinner with friends in Ohio on Sunday night, headed back to Florida this morning and I am ready to get to work on maybe one more Easter project!  Have a great week!

The most clicked link from last week’s party was a great post about building a milk glass collection.  I know my mother passed down some beautiful milk glass to my daughter, and if you are interested in learning more about spotting the authentic pieces head over to Of Fairies and Fauna Craft Co.

With Easter coming up this weekend, carrot cake seemed like a great recipe to feature.  What is interesting about this specific recipe is that it dates back to the 1920s and is naturally gluten-free and dairy free. Stop by Sewing Historically for the full recipe!

Another great link from last week came to us from An ExtraOrdinary Day, which provided a great DIY tutorial for creating this adorable mossy bunny.  I always love a great crafty idea that we can all attempt and utilize in a variety of ways.

Sandra never fails to spot some of the most delicious links from the party!  This creamy and delicious recipe for White Forest Cake was presented by a crafty homemaker, and is one I might try to whip up for this Sunday.

Thanks to Sandra we can also gaze our eyes on this absolutely lovely Easter tablescape from Rosemary & Thyme!  The nests, napkins, and floral centerpiece are just a few of my favorite pieces on this table.

  4. The moss bunny is so cool, but the table setting is to die for, to beautiful for food. My mouth watered at the sight of the White Forrest Cake, what a lovely page to visit while I figure out what to take to Easter Lunch. Thanks Again for the inspiration. Jodi
