Alice in Wonderland Baby Shower - Cupcake Display

Chloe’s Celebrations ~ Alice in Wonderland Baby Shower

I am at a very exciting time in my life, getting ready to move into a wonderful new house.  I can’t wait to start decorating and sharing it all with all of you, my wonderful readers, but in the meantime, I am so busy packing, I have not a spare moment to blog.  This Baby Shower with an Alice in Wonderland theme is by far the most popular, most pinned and most viewed of all my posts, so I am bringing it to you again today, perhaps you weren’t following Celebrate and Decorate back when I hosted this party.  I know my photography skills have improved a lot since then, but if theme parties are to your liking, this one should be a theme you host once in your lifetime!  Everyone had a wonderful time at the Alice in Wonderland – themed Baby Shower I hosted for my niece.   I incorporated lots of fun and bright colors throughout the party space.  To cover large pictures on the walls, and add fun and color to the decor, I created crepe paper backdrops, or hung lace fabric panels.  No one even knew there were large pictures behind the party backdrops!

Mad-Hatter-tableGuests were welcomed to the Shower by the White Rabbit and all of his pocket watches and clocks.  The tiered plates offered up favors of small bottles of candies with tags which read “take me”.

Alice in Wonderland Baby ShowerThe party was full of color with lots of paper lanterns and a wide variety of colorful fabrics.  I used different tablecloths and fabrics on the dining tables and the console tables.

The Dormouse peeked out of a teapotThe Dormouse from Alice in Wonderland popped out of a floral teapot to make an appearance at the shower.  In the background you can see the keyhole pattern on one of the customized chargers.

Cheshire Cat DecorationsA quote from Alice in Wonderland appeared on this cleverly painted framed bulletin board which suggest the Cheshire Cat was nearby.

Teapots filled with bright colored flowers decorated the tables.

Colorful flowers were arranged in teapots set upon footed cake plates all down the table.
