Easter Morning Tablescape

I really wanted to create an Easter morning breakfast tablescape with a little gift for each person at the table, but I didn’t want to use traditional Easter Baskets.  I spotted these adorable eggs with a bunny on top of each one and my plan for my tablescape was set!

Wouldn’t you love to sit down to an Easter table and have a surprise waiting inside this little bunny egg dish just for you?  I am now kind of tempted to just put a little Easter grass inside each one and tuck a delectable muffin inside each one as a started to our breakfast.

Isn’t this a pretty table to sit down to?  I’ll be serving ham and potatoes and some delicious Easter breads.   I know my centerpiece is rather large, but the openness of it allows guest to see one another through it.  I will be removing some of the Easter eggs and displaying my yummy Easter breads on my white stand.

Here you can see an entire table setting.  I began with my Ikea candle trays that look like oversized doilies, then added a bright green dinner plated, topped with my pretty pink plates, an ornate green salad plate and finished off with my blue bunny eggs.

I picked up this cute little bunny years ago, I don’t even remember where.  He just seemed to shout Easter.  The tiered tray is one I picked up a month or so ago from Hobby Lobby.  I love to use it for so many items.  It is pretty on my kitchen counter filled with fruit, and looked so inviting at my Cinderella Party  serving up finger sandwiches.

I picked up these pink bunny ear napkin rings at Pier One Imports a year ago.  They seemed the perfect little addition to my pastel Easter morning table.  Wherever your Easter morning finds you and with whomever you celebrate the joy of the risen Christ, may you and yours be blessed on this joyous occasion.

I will be sharing my tablescape at the following link parties:  The ScoopBNOTP – Tablescape Thursday | On Display Thursday | Friday Flash Blog | I’m Lovin’ It Link Party  | Sincerely, Paula’s No Rules Weekend Blog Party  | From Dream Into Reality | Wake Up Wednesday Linky Party | The Inspiration Board: Creative Party | Wordless Wednesday

  1. Oooh I adore this! I love your centerpiece! We usually do buffet style serving so I don’t have to remove the centerpiece but even if you do it can go right back! I love the tiers on that piece. Love the bunny topped covered egg dishes- what a great find! I guess you could even use them to put a gift inside especially for kids! Your dishes are pretty and I noticed the bunny ear napkin rings right away. This year I saw burlap ones but I like your pink ones even better!

    1. Thanks Dawn! Getting closer to buying the new house, then I would finally have room to have everyone I want to dinner! For this year it is just hubby and I and my Mom and Dad! I can’t wait until I can start sharing a new home and all the decorating I will want to do!
