Easter Tablescape

There is time for another Easter Tablescape.  I bought these pretty pastel Easter egg plates a few years ago and discovered them hidden in a cupboard this year, realizing I had never used them for a tablescape here on the blog!  I love styling tables for Spring with all of the pretty colors after a long drab Winter.

I once again used my plaid pastel tablecloth and softened the look with this textured white throw from Ikea.   I used assorted white pots filled with pastel fresh flowers interspersed with three white rabbits, my favorite is this wooden fellow bringing carrots to the table.

I have had these yellow plates from Home Goods for years.  I found these pretty chargers this year at Kirkland’s this year and thought they complemented the ornate edge of the yellow plates.  My napkin rings were brown paper mache bunnies I painted pink and drilled a hole through to pull the napkins into.  My bunny napkins were actually a set of kitchen towels my Mother cut and hemmed for me.

Instead of plain crystal, I decided to stay with all of the pastels, using both a yellow and pink goblet for wine and water.

These are the fun Easter egg plates topping my yellow dinner plates.  I have used them to put out cookies in the past, but never used them as salad plates added to my plate stack.  I hope my pretty pastels and the lovely bunnies bring a smile to your face this Spring day!

I will be sharing this at the following Link Party:  Tablescape Thursday

  1. What great ideas, drilling holes through the papier mache bunnies, and cutting down the towels for napkins. I bet your grands would especially love sitting at this table. The centerpiece bouquets & bunnies are perfect.

I’m so sad that my house is still in disarray with the bath and kitchen remodeling. I was hoping it would all be complete by Easter. If it is, it will be by the skin of the contractors’ teeth, and still no time for pretty arrangements. I want to clean my house from top to bottom when they leave!

  3. I love your table! The colors are so pretty – perfect for Easter and spring. My favorite thing (among so many lovelies) is the printed bunny napkin. I’m a textile lover, or I would have chosen one of your adorable ceramic bunnies as a fave. This entire table is stunning!

  4. Very cute Chloe! Bunnies everywhere! Pastels and your beautiful white rouched cloth are perfect for Easter! Any thoughts on the dates for the Broadway hop? I can’t believe April is almost half over, so I’m trying to plan and keep my calendar up to date…Have a wonderful Easter!

  5. Everything about this beautiful table brings a smile to my face. The throw over the pastel cloth is so pretty and I can see so many other occasions it could be used this way.
