It is officially Fall! I do love Fall and styling my home for the season. I spotted these lovely salad plates at Pier One a couple of years ago and knew they would make a pretty feathery Fall tablescape. I wanted to share this now just in case you want to stop by and pick up these beautiful plates before they are all gone. These would set a beautiful Thanksgiving table.

The feathers on the salad plates had all kinds of muted colors, browns, purples, oranges, grays, blues and yellows. Those blues coordinated beautifully with my turquoise dinner plates. You would never guess the dinner plates set a coral themed tablescape. I used three faux pumpkins, two in shades of blue and the ivory one (which somehow looks yellow in my photos) . I cut up pictures of feathers from a Marshall’s shopping bag and glued them onto the ivory colored pumpkin to carry through the theme.
The blues in these plates were perfect for my new dining table with the blue base on it. They even work well with the floral chairs. Both my table and chairs are from Ballard Designs.
I fell back into using these rustic wooden handled flatware, they are perfect for partnering with this tablescape.
I love all of the wonderful colored pumpkins you can get now. These are artificial ones, but I look forward to scouring the farmer’s markets for unusual colors of pumpkins. I loved the green ones I found and featured in my Thanksgiving table in green and white last year. The centerpiece was three grapevine wreaths overlapping each other and acting as nests for the pumpkins. Pheasant feathers were tucked under the wreaths and extended out on the table. A few other feathers were tucked around the pumpkins.

Thank you Rita!
Chloe, I have been thinking on the feather plates from Pier 1, I really like them! Love the autumn Tablescape…so rich in color and texture! Happy Labor Day, Pam @ Everyday Living
Thank you Pam, I love them!
Chloe, your tablescape is gorgeous! What wonderful Fall Inspiration! I hope that you have a wonderful Labor Day!!!
I love everything about this tablescape! Terrific colour scheme, lovely plates and stemware and the centerpiece is so perfect for the overall theme. Can’t believe you cut out feather designs from a bag – that’s being creative and it looks wonderful!
I’ve admired those feather plates at Pier 1 and they look wonderful for a fall transition with your blue dining table! How great is your pumpkin?! I love that your feathers were modpodged to your pumpkin from your shopping bag. Happy Labor Day!
Very unique and pretty fall tablescape! Love the feather theme! Great plates and beautiful centerpiece! …I just love it all! 🙂 ~Rhonda
I’m a big fan of the feather theme. Love those plates, but I’m trying to simplify 🙁 You are definitely the hostess the with mostest 🙂
What a beautiful tablescape Chloe. What amazing colors. Love it!
Thank you Valerie!
Love your blue and brown combination! Very pretty and perfect for this time of early fall.
Thank you Darlene! Thanks for stopping by and visiting Celebrate and Decorate!
I love that blue dinner plate under the feathered salad plate and what a great centerpiece arrangement too! Those pheasant feathers are very dramatic and the pumpkins picked up on the salad plates perfectly! It’s great how many new faux pumpkins are available now. I usually buy real ones for outdoors use but I like the faux ones for indoor use. Sometimes the real ones will leak and make a mess!
I agree with you on those real ones Liz. Sadly, in Florida, the real ones don’t hold up well outside in the heat, either.
Another beautiful tablescape. You have an amazing ability to bring all the elements together in a gorgeous way.
Oh my, thank you Debra, you are so sweet!
Beautiful tablescape! Love those feathered plates and the teal plates have me swooning! Love that color! Thanks for including the list where you bought the items. 🙂
Thank you Audra!
So, so, so pretty. Browns and teal always make such a beautiful statement and I love the way you incorporated all those natural elements into the tablescape Chloe. Picture perfect
Thank you so much Michelle!
This is very pretty! Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
Thank you Sherry!
I recognize those feather plates! A very unique and lovely tablescape for Fall.
Oh My! What an unusual and delightful table. Thank you for sharing. It made my day.
Thank you so much!
I loved those plates Chloe when I saw them at Pier 1 and you have definitely done them justice! Perfect with your new table! I checked out your last years table and it was so soothing to look at. Great job my friend.
How inspirational! Such a beautiful, colorful setting and so well coordinated. As far as placing the pumpkins outside (and possibly inside) would spraying them with a spray varnish help keep them from spoiling so soon?
Thank you so much Clarisse! I don’t think there is anything that you can do or way to treat real pumpkins to keep them from spoiling. I rely on a good number of artificial ones on my front porch.
Very pretty, Chloe!! You did a wonderful job using these gorgeous feather plates, complimenting them so well with the blue. I love the feathers you added to the cream pumpkin. You have created a beautiful fall table.
Thank you Ann!
This is so unique Chloe, love the soft colors and feather motive! Your feather pumpkin is such a cool touch!
Thank you so much Jenna!
You have did it again ! Love the simple elegance of the table and I would also have to say ” rustic elegance ” .
Thank you so much, Daisy!
Beautiful color palette and that flatware can be used with so many themes. The feather motif is so right for this season and faux pumpkins have come a long way in recent years.
This is beautiful! Do you know where I can purchase these salad plates? I have them, but broke one and need a replacement. Love what you have done with the setting!
I did find them on Replacements website, but they are out of stock. You can contact them and ask them to try and find them for you. Here is the link to it: https:
