Fun Flamingo Tablescape
Did you catch a glimpse of my fun flamingo tablescape last Friday? Â I was sharing a great recipe for a pasta salad that is perfect to pair with your summertime grilling. Â I had the table all set, but waited for today to show you all of the fun details!

I spotted these fun flamingo salad plates at Beall’s. Â I am lucky to have a Florida based store to find fun summertime dishes like these. Â The dinner plates are from Kohl’s, and like the salad plates, they are all unbreakable, perfect for outdoor summer dining. Â I went all crazy with the flamingos! Â I just had to have one of those giant pool inflatables, even though I don’t have a pool. Â This float just might be finding its way to my neighborhood pool for fun! Â I used a coral colored twin size quilt for a tablecloth and topped it with round woven hyacinth placemats. Â Although I have enough of the coral and yellow dinner plates, I chose to alternate the plates and used contrasting napkins for each place setting. Â The salad plates look equally at home on the yellow dinner plates as they do on the coral ones.
Yellow and coral napkins from were rolled and tucked into oversized blossom napkin ring. Â I love the bright colors for summer. Â I could easily have incorporated blues and greens into this tablescape as well.
How fun are these glasses I found at Home Goods for just $2.99 each? Â Because I spotted these fun glasses, I started thinking a flamingo party should be in the works, so sip your drinks from these flamingo embellished straws!
Miniature lawn flamingos danced their way down the table parading through my long floral centerpiece. Â Check out the big guy who is also sneaking up on the table! Â There he is again! Â Can you spot him peeking in at the corner of the table? Â He was so much fun, everyone wanted to move him around or have him sitting next the them. Â I brought my casual table chairs outside to make this a more comfortable dining experience for all of us.

Chloe, this is super cute and I can tell you had way too much fun putting it together. I love the mixing of all the bright colors. What a fun design theme!
Thanks Rita, I would have tweaked it a little more, but alas, the thunder was rumbling the entire time!
Chloe,
What a fun dinner you’ll be having. I recently bought some “flamingo” paper plates and napkins for just such a dessert party. I need to get a couple of the plastic flamingo birds for a centerpiece. I love the napkins and “posy” napkin rings. You’ve got a beautiful setting here!
Thank you Barb! Those mini flamingos are the perfect size for a centerpiece!
How cute! I have a granddaughter who loves flamingos, I will be looking at Home Goods and Bealls for some of these cute glasses and/or plates. Your table is really fun and festive and perfect for a summer get-together.
Chloe, now this is a fun and festive table! I love the flamingo theme…and since I love color, this just makes me smile! Definitely the perfect summer table! Pam @ Everyday Living
Chloe, I love your table! It is both festive and beautiful. I love all the gorgeous colors. It looks so happy and cheerful. Your did a wonderful job!!!
The flamingo peeking out at the end of the table reminds me of “Where’s Waldo”, you never know where he may show up. I was in love with the quilt you used the first time I seen it and now with a better view I love it even more. There’s no way you couldn’t have fun at this table. It is gorgeous!
So fun and Floridaish! I love the flamingo plates and how you used the flamingo lawn ornaments as your centerpiece. I have the same round woven placemats and love them! The float will come in handy when your granddaughters visit 🙂
This tablescape is wonderful. I love Bealls for the Florida look. If we lived closer I would let you use my vintage ceramic pink flamingos, which happen to be on my kitchen table right now.
Oh, that is so sweet Debra! Beall’s has some unique treasures, doesn’t it?
I love the glasses! I am really into flamingos right now too. Even my bathing suit has them!! I think I will be making a trip to Home Goods!
Thank you Pamela….It took me 2 Home Goods to get enough glasses! I almost had to resort to adding in some pineapple ones, too!
What a colorful and festive table, I just love it! Thanks for sharing with us at the Totally Terrific Tuesday party, we hope to see you back again tomorrow!
Thank you so much Nicki! I plan to swing on by!
Chloe, I agree with Rita that you had too much fun doing this table. Love the colors so fun and happy. Perfect for a summer gathering.
Oh, I did, I am already thinking of ways to switch it up for next summer!
I just love all of the bright colors and those cute flamingos!!! Thanks for sharing at TaDa Thursday!!
I can’t believe all of the flamingo pieces you found for this table setting. That looks like it was a really fun party!
Thank you Melony, it was so much fun, I want to do it again!
Makes me very happy! I am a decorator and hostess and love your flamingo table. When you sit down to dine at that setting your already feel special and know it will be a fun and playful meal. Great job, love it, superb!
Thank you Debbie, I love for my guests to feel special like that, too!
