Spring Into an Easter Table Blog Hop!

Spring Into an Easter Table Blog Hop!

Easter Table Blog Hop!

I am so honored to be invited to join a great group of bloggers to share their lovely Easter Tables.  After you have checked out all of the pictures of my Gold and White Easter tablescape, make sure you click on the links and see how these fabulous women have interpreted Easter into their tablescapes!

A gold and white Easter tablescape would not naturally be my choice of colors for Easter, but once elements catch my attention, I am suddenly one a one way path!  I spotted some large gold eggs at Target and thought those would be what I would use for my centerpiece.  Notice there are no gold eggs on the table, things change once I start putting a table together.

I used my ruffled IKEA throws as my tablecloth.  Gold beaded placemats were topped with my IKEA candle trays as chargers, gold dinner plates and simple white salad plates.  Gold flatware from West Elm finished off my place settings.

The funny thing is, once I got started, those gold plastic eggs were not the look I needed at all.  I spotted this golden rabbit at Home Goods and those gold eggs were on their way back to Target!

I actually mixed and matched my salt and pepper shakers.  Target had these cute little guys with the gold accents in their ears a couple of years ago, and this year they had the ones with the gold tails.  I set both on the table, mixing them up.

Of course my golden bunny couldn’t stand alone, so another pair of withe rabbits, both with gold accents inside their ears have joined in the center of the table.  One of the rabbits is a vase, so I filled him with babies breath,  a gold dipped carafe was also filled with babies breath.  Who would have thought an Easter table would be so lacking in color.  This certainly does not mean that this table lacks anything else for the celebration.

The next blog to hop to is my friend Desiree at Camelot Art Creations!

Keep “hopping” along at these beautiful blogs!

  6. Hi, I hopped over from Heathers blog. This is a fun twist for spring. I am always drawn to pastels, but love this for a change! The gold bunny is perfect and I love both sets of S&P bunnies. I have used my Ikea throw as a tablecloth before as well.

    1. Welcome! I am so glad to have you here! I went full pastels for my springtime table this coming Friday, but when I spotted all of the gold accented bunnies, I was set on this theme!

  7. Gold and white is perfect for any holiday! This makes for such a beautiful Easter table. My little grandkids decided that they wanted to eat all of my gold Lindt bunnies, so I had to bring them some! They were gone in minutes – of course biting the ears off first! Haha! Have a wonderful Easter.
