Set the table:

Add a horse to your tabletop to immediately set the mood and style.

The Food:

Add red roses and some little trophies, then bring on the food!  Serve up traditional Derby or southern favorites!  Think, southern ham, pimento cheese spread, pecans, bourbon balls!  Add some ribbon that suggests the silks the jockeys wear!

The Drinks:

Don’t forgo the Mint Juleps!  Provide all of the ingredients and display the recipe nearby!  If you want to get official, pick up some Mint Julep Cups!

The Dessert:

Get creative setting a table full of cupcakes set up on a racetrack!  This stylist used brown sugar for the track!

OR…just order a horseshoe cake adorned with red frosting roses or make your own!  Will you be hosting a Kentucky Derby Party?
