    1. Oh no, Deborah, this is a dream craft room. I have a large room I am in now, but it is not in a good location in our home and I could only wish it looked this clean and organized! Happy New Year to you!

  1. Chloe, Happy New Year and it sounds like you are prioritizing! I don’t make resolutions but I do assess what needs to be changed! Looking forward to all you will share with us this year!

  2. Beautiful family, Chloe! No wonder you were running ragged in the months those littles were staying with you!! They look like great balls of fire energy!

I am so looking forward to doing whatever I darn well please this year, lol. I know that sounds extremely self-indulgent, but I’m really just happy NOT to have any major projects looming like last year’s kitchen and bath. That’s not to say there won’t be any projects, but I hope they’ll be limited to the outside of the house. A focus on staying healthy, and a little travel will go a long way to enjoying the days to come as well.

It will be fun to watch your projects, but be sure to take some ‘me’ time in that vision board!

    1. Thanks for some great advice Rita. My granddaughters really are the true epitome of balls of energy, I don’t know how their parents keep up with them! I know after years that we have done major renovations we have felt the exact same way afterwards, vowing to take a break.

  3. I stopped doing resolutions years ago. I have some overall goals for the year, but I’m not going to obsess over them. I do want to get more exercise and stay healthy. My husband just retired at the end of the year, so we will be doing more activities together.

  4. Happy New Year Chloe! Resolutions no, goals yes. Staying healthy is my primary goal. If I’m healthy the rest of my goals will be easier. More quality time with family is always at the top of my list. Improving and taking my baking to the next level is one of the things I look forward to. Also, getting back to styling more parties and sweetheart tables for a living. Another one that’s a bit scary is doing videos. All of this should keep me busy but will be rewarding. I made my first vision board in 2006 and they are great for keeping you on track. I hope you reach all your goals and can’t wait to see your craft room.

    1. Sounds like you have some pretty lofty goals for the upcoming year, and I know you will succeed with all your talent. I too have discovered how challenging the pre-recorded videos can be. I have been blessed to have my good friend Brian help me with the editing process. It does seem that videos are all the rage now especially when it comes to baking and crafts. Good luck working towards all your goals this year and always my friend.
