Styling a Pink Luncheon Table
What could be more girly than a pretty pink tablescape? This special time while I have my daughter visiting is a perfect time to entertain my mother and her with a lovely luncheon on the front porch. Wouldn’t this be a beautiful table for a Mother’s Day luncheon?
Each place was set with a lovely charger, a bold floral banquet size plate topped with a pale pink dinner plate and a glass pink salad plate. A pretty white vintage napkin was topped with one of the pretty pink spray roses.
For flowers, I chose beautiful pink spray roses in a couple of different shades and filled in with some white spray roses and babies breath. I tucked these into a pretty pink and white floral teapot.
A pretty table set with floral plates, pink and white roses and babies breath along with that pretty floral teapot made a beautiful table for three ladies.
I cannot even remember where these glass patterned salad plates came from. They may have been a gift from a dear friend of mine who taught me so much about entertaining. These fit perfectly on the pale pink plates.
I bought these very pale plates about twenty years ago. I have used them time and time again for ladies luncheons, they are just perfect for that, and very durable, too.
I purchased these beautiful plates years ago on a trip to the outlets in Reading, Pennsylvania. I have only used them a few times, but I have never regretted buying them. The lovely cabbage roses on them are so pretty. I have enjoyed using these with clear plates over top of them to let the lovely pattern come through.
For chargers, my perfect choice was these lacy looking candle trays I picked up at Ikea a year or so ago. I have seen these are still available at Ikea. I am thinking about adding some more to my collection. I won’t tell my hubby, hehe! Who would you host at a pretty pink tablescape like this one?

So sweet, and feminine. As always, Chloe – perfection… PS – I’m telling “Mr. Crabtree” you are going shopping again so he can hide the car keys, LOL!
Thanks Tim, he can’t stop me from shopping, hehe!
Beautiful, Chloe. I was just thinking of having my daughters, stepdaughters and granddaughters over for a “Ladies Tea” and a pink table like this would be perfect! Thank you for sharing. I think I’ll use a similar theme. I especially like the idea of placing a pink bud on each plate. Thanks for the inspiration! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
Rosie, isn’t it so much fun to get together with just other ladies? Thanks for stopping by!
I have so many gal pals, and virtual gal pals that I would love to host. I imagine that our get together would last for hours! We’re both thinking florals this week with the soft blooms and floral chargers. That lacy candle tray is gorgeous and if you pick up a few more your secret will be safe with me!
Hosting just girlfriends is so much fun, isn’t it, Sandra?
What a fun idea! You always think of all the details and I love your flower arrangement.
Thanks, Dawn, this was such a fun little luncheon to style!
LOVE this Chloe! Love the table for 3 idea too, so sweet and so pretty and perfect in pink!
Thanks Jenna, it was a lovely luncheon and so much fun to style!
The styling of the table makes it look super easy! The floral teapot centerpiece is so pretty!
Dear Chloe:
Your table is really lovely! I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love pink….well maybe there is someone somewhere! I love your dishes and the rose plates and the chargers. Great attention to detail here! Thanks for sharing and linking!
Thank you!
Dear Chloe:
Thanks so much for participating and I am letting you know that this post is featured today on my blog. Congratulations!
Thank you so very much! I will be stopping by again!
This is so beautiful!!! I absolutely love how fresh, whimsical, delicate, and sweet it is!
Thanks Tricia! A perfect table for three Princesses to enjoy!
Chloe, Pink is my favorite color, so I absolutely love your place settings and flowers. So pretty. Thank you for sharing at Your Inspired Design.
Thank you Carol, it appeared so feminine!
So beautiful and soft Chloe. What a pretty and feminine tablescape. I have some pink dessert plates that came from Germany but bear no name. The coloring of yours are much like mine. The roses are just beautiful. I have no IKEA close to home (which may be a good thing) but I probably would own those white chargers if I did! I always adored the cabbage rose pattern- it’s good that you kept your dishes.
Thank you Liz, I am glad I have held onto all of the dishes I have…but finding space for them is a challenge!
So so pretty Chloe. Feminine, delicate and easy on the eyes. Love your style. Come over and check out some of my tablescapes. We have similar taste.
Hugs,
Janet

Wow! So very pretty. You couldn’t have set a more lovely table. I also use the candle trays from IKEA. I have spray painted some in other colors as well. Recently on a trip to IKEA, I saw they are now selling them in black besides the white. Too bad, as I painted 8 of them black already.
Hi,
Such a pretty pretty post!
I looked online for the IKEA chargers but I did not see them, are they online or In store only?
My IKEA is about an hour away so I would prefer to buy online. Plus I would hate to make the drive up there if they no longer sell them.
Any info or links would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Sandy
Hi Sandra! The trays I used for chargers are actually made for candles. You can find them online at IKEA under “candle dish”. They are just $4.99 each. I am including the link here, just copy it and paste and you should be set! http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80239979/
