Chrysanthemums are a bargain flower I find right at my local grocery store.  I just picked up a couple of bunches of white cushion mums and made little arrangements in old silver goblets.  I began with them on the plate stack, then moved them onto the table above the place settings.

Winter Wonderland TablescapeA white faux branchy tree they are selling at Joann’s for Easter seemed like the perfect Winter centerpiece, especially when draped with pearl garlands I took off my Christmas tree .

Winter Wonderland Tablescape All white wouldn’t quite work, I needed some silver for contrast.  I set my table with simple silver chargers topped with white dinner plates and then added a silver salad plate and a white dessert plate with a silver snowflake on them.  Winter Wonderland Tablescape

My flatware is my everyday stainless, Classic Shell from Oneida.  The goblets are Marquis by Brookside for Waterford. Winter Wonderland Tablescape

I used white linen napkins simply rolled and tied with a narrow white ribbon.

It was fun to play with the elements afterwards, draping the pearls everywhere!  Winter Wonderland Tablescape

  1. Perfect winter tablescape! Great sparkly transition from Christmas. Love that throw as snow and the branch tree with the beads as a centerpiece.

  2. Oh, la, la, Chloe! I love your white and silver tablescape, dripping with pearls! So very elegant. There’s nothing quite like crisp white and sparkly silver to bring a winter wonderland to mind. Your throw works perfectly and I’m drooling over your snowflake plates. A perfect space for this time of year. Thank you for sharing. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

  3. Oh my, this is gorgeous! Sparkled with magic. I love the tree with the pearls, it is perfection. Beautiful plate stack. I looked at what I thought was your tablecloth and thought I want one of those, then my mind went right to IKEA. I thought of their multi-purpose throw. I am so glad you said it was from them. I think I will be using one on my tables. You know copying is the sincerest form of flattery. Loved your post!

    1. Oh my, what fun colors. I always begin by shopping my own cupboards and closets. I love that combination of colors. There are lots of fresh flowers available in fuchsia to include on your table. Maybe use a gold napkin ring around a turquoise napkin and tuck a fuchsia flower into the ring.

  5. Very elegant setting indeed. Using silver accents complemented the white perfectly for a winter tablescape. I actually own a similar throw that I bought at IKEA also. I particularly loved the flower arrangements, simple, fresh and elegant.

    1. Thank you so much Edmee! I have used those throws over and over again…I love that they don’t have to be ironed! I struggle with getting all of the wrinkles out of my tablecloths! Thanks for stopping by!
