More Big Game Party Ideas and Recipes!
BIG GAME DAY RECIPES
Are you excited for the Big Game?  It is time for me to share some more party ideas and delicious recipes!  Wait, you’ve been eating healthy and getting lots of regular exercise this new year and don’t want to blow it all in one day?  Don’t worry, I have a couple of lighter alternatives, that you, and your guests will love! Â
I began by covering my table with a piece of green felt. Â I added some white duct tape to give it the feel of a football field. Â I didn’t want to do a whole football field with yard lines, so I treated the back of my table as the end zone, complete with DIY goal posts! Â I have to thank my Dad for those! Â This Sunday is a perfect time to gather with family and friends, football fans, or not! Â I found these plush footballs and hung them from the ceiling over my table.
The chalkboards on the wall were the perfect place to draw up some football plays (I can’t guarantee they are accurate, I am more into party planning than football). Â I wanted to elevate my cardboard SNACK ZONE letters. Â I had picked up this kid’s room growth chart on clearance a few years ago. Â I simply put it up on some canning jars painted brown with cross laces painted onto them beneath the board to elevate it. Â Of course balloons in each of the teams colors helps elevate the festivities. Â
Football shaped dishes are the perfect way to serve up those fan favorite snacks! Â Do you have a chalkboard at home, add some football plays for quick party decor! Â Low fat cheeses are another way to keep your snacks lighter, yet delicious! Â Individual cups of carrot and celery sticks, cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes with a dollop of low fat ranch dressing are another healthy snack that can be grabbed quickly so football fans can get back to watching the game! Â
