A Peacock Inspired Christmas Tablescape
Every unique table I set is inspired by a unique find. Once I discover something, I build the tablescape from there. For this table, it was these beautiful dishes. I spotted these beautiful dishes on Macy’s website and ordered them that minute. The peacock’s tail swirls around the three quarters of the edge of the plate and at the top, a blue ribbon bow swirls down behind two lovely peacock and gold dangling Christmas ornaments. These were such a change from all of the Christmas colors and traditional Christmas designs on dishes.
I began with a white tablecloth and layered gold chargers with turquoise dinner plates and topped them with these beautiful salad plates. Flatware by Towle added a touch of gold to the tabletop.
I had some fun with the stemware, crystal water and wine glasses mixed with tall white champagne glasses. The white was repeated in the white peacock napkin rings.
A unique peacock sculpture was nestled in a peacock feather wreath which was anchored with a gold lacquer tray.

gorgeous!
Hello, where did you purchase the peacock’s? They are absolutely beautiful!! Thanks.
Tois, I bought the peacock in the centerpiece at AT HOME, formerly, Garden Ridge. The white peacock napkin rings came from Z Gallerie.
I love your attention to detail. I love the mix of gold and white with the pretty peacock colors.
Thank you Heather!
The white champagne glasses are very unique and really rev up the glam factor on this table. My daughters original theme choice for her wedding was peacock. Once she sees this beautiful table she may wished she had stayed with it!
Aren’t those glasses incredible! What did your daughter end up going with?
Simply Stunning Chloe! I’m laughing because I love peacock feathers. Yet another thing in common. Where did you find the fun peacock? The plates are beautiful and I of course am loving the gold and turquoise. So elegant looking! FYI Hobby Lobby sells some pretty individual peacock feathers in their craft section I used on my Christmas packages last year.
We are a pair! I found that peacock at AT HOME, which used to be Garden Ridge. I saw those plates and fell in love! I only treated myself to 4, but I bought 4 coordinating ones that are not Christmasy, but could be used with these.
If you want to take a quick trip to Florida, my neighborhood has SIX REAL Peacocks/Hens (only one is male) that are annoying the heck out of us. If you come and get them, everyone will throw you a party………
Oh, Bernie, that is so funny! I know they can be REALLY LOUD and REALLY annoying! I wonder how they got there.
Chloe I’d say you have an obsession with feathers, white feathers peacock blues for definitely feathers. lovely table just glittery gland.
Love the peacocks! I’m off to order the dessert plates, after seeing yours so beautifully displayed. May I ask, where did you get the turquoise dinner plates? What brand are they? They really set everything off perfectly!
My tree is red and white this year, and so I will base my Christmas table on it this year, but thanks to your inspiration, I’m tempted to rip everything down and redo in peacock colors! I guess I’ll have to wait ’til next year….
Thank you so much, I am so happy you liked the dessert plates! I bought the turquoise dinner plates from Pier One Imports, only a few months ago, so they may have them still! Happy Holidays!
You and I share a love for these peacock dishes! My Mom bought me a set last year, and I just love the color and contrasts they bring to the table!!! You did an excellent job of showcasing them here!
