Celebrate Your Story! # 126

Link Party

How is your new week starting off?  I have been hustling and bustling around here for a very good reason.  My dear daughter won’t be joining us here at Celebrate and Decorate after all.  After my son in law was medically discharged from the Army last year, they really miss military life SO, my daughter has enlisted in the Army!  She will be heading off to basic training in less than a week and my dear son in law and granddaughters will be coming to stay with us during that time!  Those babies aren’t babies any longer and needed a new room here at my house.  I will be sharing the new room with you here on the blog later this week!  Stay tuned!

Featured Links from Last Week:

The textures of the charger and dinner plate in this table from Home and gardening with Liz caught my eye with her Ruby “40” Years tablescape.  It seems I love all kinds of tables this week, this one from Pillar Box Blue where Claire shows you how to make these Easy Upcycled Map Table Mats.

Sandra selected this wonderful Strawberries and Prosecco Cream dessert from Tea Cottage Mysteries.  I am ready to have this for dessert, how about you?  Sandra’s second feature has great ideas for upcoming Cinco de Mayo celebrations with these Fiesta Wedding Inspiration Board from Bride on a Budget.

The most clicked link last week was Lattice and Trellis Rooms What’s Old is New Again.  Petite Haus gives you a great tour of many different lattice and trellis rooms.

    1. Thank you Jenna! I am so very proud of the strong woman she has become! Yes, I will have my hands full! Those busy little girls will have me napping with them or going to bed at their early bedtime for sure!

  2. Wow! Congrats on your daughter joining the Army. We appreciate her service and the service of your Son-in-law and all of you for your family sacrifices. It is a big change to have folks come live with you, even those we love the most. Life would be boring if we didn’t do these things though!

  3. Thank you for the feature of my Ruby “40” Years Tablescape!
Congratulations on your daughter’s new military enlistment. It will be quite an adjustment for everyone I’m sure. The granddaughters are going to love being with you- especially with the new swimming pool! Thanking your son in-law and daughter for their service!
