Celebrate Your Story! #29

We are down to the last few days of having my dear daughter, granddaughters and son in law with us before they move on to their next post.  I will miss them all dearly, but it is probably time to get back to real life and a real schedule, sigh.  How are you dear readers?  Getting into Summer?  Are the children out of school for Summer break yet?  Do you have travel plans this summer?  I would love to hear about them!  Scroll down to comments and let me know what you plan for the Summer of 2016!  In the meantime, let’s see what we loved from last week’s Celebrate Your Story! party!

A Beautiful Day on 30A

A Beautiful Day on 30A from Everyday Living was my favorite link from last week.  If you have ever had a chance to drive down this stretch of road, you know how magical all of those little gulf front communities are.  If only there was a convenient airport, I know I would call one of these little neighborhoods home.Coconut Cake

This Ultimate Coconut Cake by Allie over at Baking a Moment was Sandra’s choice to feature this week and I have already pinned this one to my “coconut” PInterest board!  Before:After Stairs TransformationJenny selected Claire’s Marimekko Stairs Transformation for her feature and I agree, this was a totally new look!  You can see it all over at Pillar Box Blue!

  1. Thanks for the invite Chloe. Where’s your family off too? I’m always sad to say goodbye (especially this last time) but always look forward to a new adventure.

    1. Hi Kathy, they are a military family in the process of moving from Germany to Fort Lewis/McCord near Olympia, Washington. I will miss them, but it is time to get back to my regular schedule! It helps that my hubby says I can fly there anytime I need a grandbaby fix!

  2. Chloe, thanks so much for the lovely party and for featuring my post on 30A. My husband has a business trip to Seattle and I am going with him and then we are going to take a few extra days to drive down the Oregon Coast and take a ferry to Victoria, British Columbia. Enjoy your sweet family! Blessings, Pam

    1. Oh, my that is so funny, my daughter and her family who have been with me in Florida for 9 weeks now are flying into Seattle tomorrow. They are a military family moving from Germany to Fort Lewis/McCord near Olympia. What does your husband do? My husband flies to Seattle on business often, too, and now I will have a reason to join him! I look forward to seeing pictures from your trip on Everydayliving!

  3. Loved the house tour on 30A. I am headed there tomorrow for vacation and can’t wait! My bag has been packed since Sunday 🙂 It’s such a quaint and picturesque place.
