I have always thought it would be great fun to have a white Christmas tree and have dreamed of all of the fun ways you can decorate a white tree.  I was never ready to commit to just a white tree, giving up the traditional green tree.

How ever would I decide how to decorate this white tree which is a big blank slate?  I think decorating a white tree is totally different from decorating a green tree.A White Christmas tree decorated with garlands of jewel tone flowers.

I decided I wanted my tree to coordinate with my dining room and the dark almost jewel toned blue walls.  I was starting totally from scratch, so I headed to my big boxes of faux flowers for inspiration.A White Christmas tree decorated with garlands of jewel tone flowers. I first bought one of these garlands for a Cinderella themed party I hosted.  The rich colors seemed perfect for the look I wanted.  I was fortunate that Hobby Lobby still carries the same garlands.  They are not inexpensive, but at least I took advantage of their half off prices when I picked up two additional ones for this tree.

A collection of simple Christmas balls in those rich tones was added to my tree along with a number of brown glass ones I had from Christmases long ago.

  1. That’s a very pretty themed tree, Chloe. And you’re right – good, realistic garland is not inexpensive! (and some cheap looking garland is not inexpensive either!). It certainly pays to take good care of it when purchased, so that it lasts for future use. I love how that tree looks in your dining room.

  2. The florals on your white tree are beautiful! I agree that decorating a white tree is like starting with a clean slate. Not that decorating a green one isn’t. You’re just beginning with something that is non-traditional that requires a different mindset. Your tree works so well with the existing room decor, great job!

  3. I would love a new tree, haven’t had one in years & this would definitely cheer thing up around here. You have done a beautiful job. I’m going to guess WHISPER WHITE CASHMERE TREE in the description it says, “Tiny tufts of cashmere sprinkled throughout the branches resemble fresh fallen snowflakes, adding extra charm to its frosty look” along with the lights, it sounds breathtaking. #TreetopisWhite3Mystery #Treetopia Thank you for sharing your beautifully decorating tree & the chance to win =) Happy Holidays

  4. My guess is the Moonlight White Christmas Tree! Whichever it is, it’s gorgeous! Makes me want to get a white one for our family room tree!

  5. Hi Chloe, I think you choose the SPARKLING WHITE CHRISTMAS TREE, it’s gorgeous, I’m in Florida too! After living in Michigan all my life I’m adjusting to the difference in holidays and our decorating!

  6. I am going to guess Treetopia’s TREETOPIA® BASICS – WHITE TREE and love those decorations! Now have a whole new set of ideas!

  7. Gorgeous decorations ! I think that’s what I love most about the holidays. My boyfriend wanted a white tree this year but we settled for a flocked tree. I love how full the tree is that you chose , its beautiful. Im thinking it was the winter white potted pine tree . I was trying to figure out the fullness factor but its hard to say what kind of tree it is. Either way she’s a beauty !
