Celebrate Your Story! #74

How was your weekend?  I have had a great week with my son and daughter in law visiting me here in Florida.  I have had a stream of visitors and look forward to getting back to a more regular schedule here at Celebrate & Decorate.  I have a couple of great DIY projects I have been working on.  Come on back on Tuesday to see my latest project and on Friday I will be demonstrating it LIVE on Hometalk’s Facebook page at 1 PM ET.  I hope you will have a chance to check it out!  I will share it on my own Facebook page after it airs live.

I entertain with a buffet at home many times, but I don’t think I have ever styled my brunch table.  I have certainly never styled it as beautifully as Lori from Dining Delight did for her Easter buffet.   I know she has inspired me to style some buffet tables as part of my future elements.

What a pretty and special box Mary’s daughter re-styled and up-cycled into a sweet gift for her friend. The best part is that it was made with her own two hands and love.   Who wouldn’t enjoy having this pretty box in their home?  You can see more at The Boondock’s Blog.  Sandra’s first feature this week is this scrumptious One Pot Chicken Rice Dinner from All Thats Jas.  20 minutes and one pot, so not a kitchen full of dishes, yes, sign me up!  Marilyn’s Treats was Sandra’s second feature this week with her round up of Kentucky Derby Fare.  Do you celebrate the Derby?  I have held a couple of Derby parties, but I would really like to go all out one year, how about you?The most clicked link was Sadie Seasongoods fantastic up-cycle of these rustic buckets into a great spot for keeping gardening tools in the garage!  I know I could use this!  Head over to her blog and see what she started with!

  1. Thanks so much Chloe for featuring my Easter Buffet Decor post. Always a thrill and you’ve said such nice words about it.
