Celebrate Your Story! #177

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Easter has come and gone and I can’t believe a week from this Saturday will be the running of the Kentucky Derby!  I thought I would get it together and host a little get together this weekend for the party, but somehow I don’t see that happening!  So many times during the year I feel like it is time for a fresh start.  The first of the year is always one of those times, then after Easter, again at back to school time even when I don’t have anyone returning to school.  Do you look at different times during the year as time for a fresh start, a renewal?

Featured Links from Last Week:

My dear friend Carol from Bluesky at Home shared beautiful ways to use faux flowers in her Easy Faux Flower Spring Arrangement Tips and Ideas.  Fresh flowers are great, but sometimes you want that pop of color to hang around for more than a week or two.

I have incorporated a couple of sweet little signs onto my tiered tray for my Easter decor.  I didn’t think about making my own, and Kippi at Home has inspired me with her link up last week.  Look how easy this little Spring Block DIY project is.  I love that I could create my own custom words!  I chose to share the before picture from The Crowned Goat from last week.  You must check out her Lanai Makeover an Outdoor Dining Table.  This is a brilliant idea that could be used for an indoor table, too.  I might just be heading out to the thrift stores looking for tables.  This re-do could be used for an indoor table, too!

The most clicked link last week comes to us from the ever popular, Everyday Living.  I am so excited for summer so Pam will be sharing more glimpses from her beautiful garden.

  1. This week I am sharing a Trinity Pie, A Gluten Free Carrot Cake and a Spring Snack Mix. Thanks for hosting. Have a lovely evening!

  2. I don’t know how I missed this Chloe! I’m so sorry. Thanks so much for the sweet feature. We’ve been totally bananas over here with the One Room Challenge. I’ll be really glad when it’s all behind us and I can take a few minutes to visit my parents. I swear the minute my Dad created that tabletop it changed the entire lanai! We ate out there for Easter and it was so peaceful. I hoping we’ll be able to do it again for Mother’s Day too. Sending you big hugs and thank yous, CoCo
