I have my own cut out cookie recipe that has been handed down in our family, and I have yet to try royal icing, which I know would give me prettier cookies. I just stick with my buttercream frosting which, combined with my cookies tastes incredible. I just don’t want to give up taste for appearance, but I do LOVE these beautiful cookies.
