4th of July Tablescape

4th of July Tablescape

I don’t know if all of this time at home is making time fly by or drag.  Regardless, it is time to set a 4th of July Tablescape!  It is also time to gather so many other talented table stylists so that each of them may share their patriotic tables, too!

My little red truck is delivering a load of American flags!  Perhaps this has been part of the local parade!

Red miniature carnations and baby’s breath along with American flags fill the back of my little red truck.

Blue woven placemats were topped with basic white dinner plates and red salad plates.  Each salad plate has a little bottle vase with some red miniature carnations and an American flag.  I wrapped a bit of patriotic ribbon around the bottles.

Pioneer Woman red-handled flatware is always appropriate for Independence Day.  It is rare that I don’t use a traditional setting for my flatware, but it just looked right placed all together on my triangle of red and white napkin folded over a navy blue one.

This fun patriotic ribbon was my motivation for digging out my little red truck for this tablescape.

Stemware was an easy choice with red and blue water and wine glasses.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting my porch with my table all set and ready for the 4th of July!  Now,  please take the time to visit all of these talented table stylists!

  14. Chloe, I adore the little red truck theme. I am certain it can be used for just about every holiday. It makes me yearn for the good old days when us kids could ride in the back of uncle’s little red truck (real one). Your tablescape makes for a perfect porch setting. I can imagine having a casual conversation at your table while watching a Fourth of July parade go by. Now all I need a cold glass of lemonade…..a perfect summer day.

  17. Chloe, I adore how that ribbon inspired both you & Mary for this patriotic parade! The truck is perfect for that old-timey, small town parade feel. The napkins and their fold are very appealing for me, and I agree with your placement of the utensils on them. There’s nothing like a red, white & blue setting in the rich tones like you’ve used here. Classy.
