Chloe’s Inspiration ~ Brunch
Brunch is eaten between breakfast and lunch and is a combination of both of them. Brunches can be a lovely and a less expensive way of entertaining than a dinner party or cocktail party; and often easiest to serve buffet style. Mimosas or a Bloody Mary are the popular brunch beverages. Brunch breakfast foods often include an egg dish, sweet breads or pastries, fruits, and breakfast meats. You would want to add at least one dish considered more of a lunch food, perhaps a pasta dish.
This is a lovely brunch display of vegetable frittata, lox and bagels, chicken sausages and fruit salad.
A strata, frittata, or quiche is one of the easiest ways to serve an egg dish for a brunch, and is also something you can generally make ahead of time for ease of preparation and presentation.
To prepare pancakes ahead of time, cook them as you normally would, and stack them between sheets of parchment paper and store them in the refrigerator, or freeze them. To reheat, cover the [thawed] stack of pancakes loosely with aluminum foil and place them in a preheated oven to 275 degrees for ten to fifteen minutes.
Your fruit or fruit and cheese display are your opportunity to make an impression on your guests.
Quick breakfast buns are a great addition to any Brunch menu.

Brunch is a great way to gather friends and family after a religious celebration, such as a First Communion, Baptism, or Confirmation. Brunch is also a great way to gather friends for a midday Bridal Shower or Baby Shower. Make sure if you are hosting a brunch that you offer a variety of both breakfast and lunch foods, and enough food to satisfy the appetites of your guests. I would love to share your favorite brunch recipes! Enjoy planning a brunch sometime soon!
