I have decided to dress up my dining room to celebrate the third season of the series. When my guests arrive, they will be immediately greeted with an opulent display of wisteria welcoming them into the well appointed dining room.

I began by draping my table with an antique white tablecloth and dressed it with an ivory lace overlay.

A pair of beautiful silver candelabras will grace the table and bring light to it for dining as the sun sets.

A silver tray holds the coffee pot, along with the creamer and sugar bowl. All of the silver adds a stately look to the table.

My Lenox Lace Point china is a perfect pattern for the regency era style I am going for. The subtle floral pattern is in muted pinks and greys.

The Wild Rose International Silver I inherited from my mother is most refined and compliments the silver rim on the china.

The most elegant stemware I have is the Navare Clear stemware by Fostoria. I only have a set of water and wine glasses and hope to add additional pieces in the future. I discovered these on Replacements which is an amazing website if you have not visited it in the past.

All of these elements pulled together to make an exquisite table setting.

Of course a Bridgerton themed event would not be complete without Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers! You can customize your own for your own event by ordering them on Etsy!

My floral centerpiece is a mix of pink and white peonies, hydrangeas, and carnations. I arranged this in a beautiful gray swan planter. I like for the centerpiece on a table to be something to wow my guests when arrive.

Once my guests are ready to take a seat at the table, I switch out my oversized centerpiece for one made with the same or similar flowers.

  1. Chloe, oh my goodness this setting is beautiful! You’re so blessed to have inherited your Mom’s silverware. Your wedding china is simply gorgeous! I’ve been wanting a swan planter like that and they’re always sold out or priced so high… I about faint! 😄 I have unfortunately never had the privilege of hosting a formal dinner party and dream of having a Tea Party one day. I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve never been to one either. Everyone in my family & community… being total southern country’fied (LOL) we either have way to many people for fine dining or we can’t afford for our goodies to get broken up. Hahaha we end up with a picnic style pretty tables. One day tho… one day! I dream of getting dressed up with my girls like this in a fairytale of Pride & Prejudice, Bridgerton or some of the Elizabethian era shows. Wear all the dresses and be all prim & proper! 🤣 Enjoyed your Summer blog hop! Love all the Daisy’s!

    1. Erica, How lovely to hear from you! I treasure the silverware! I didn’t have any wedding china and after several years of marriage my husband started buying pieces of that china for me, one occasion at a time! I have rarely been hosted for a formal dinner party myself. Because I love entertaining like that, I don’t care if anyone else invites me, I just go ahead and host myself (hoping that people will reciprocate). I love pretty picnic style table too! Don’t wait! Get your girls dressed up, dress up yourself and make pretty finger sandwiches and have your fairytale tea party!!
