A Lakeside Fall Table for Two and a Giveaway!

Could there be anything more magical at this time of year than a beautiful lakeside fall table setting. I visited Seneca Creek State Park in Maryland to set this lakeside fall tablescape. If you are fortunate enough to have this in your own back yard, consider setting a dining table out there!

I am also pleased to be joining our host, Katherine from Katherine’s Corner in a seasonal giveaway!

This time of year the colored leaves were so beautiful. I set a small table with two chairs for a lovely lakeside luncheon. Beside this small lake is a perfect setting for the fall season.

Hoping that we will stay and enjoy this lovely setting until dusk, I added three pillar candles on wooden candle holders.

A blue plaid fall throw was used as a topper. Blue ruffled placemats distinguished each place setting.

Brown dinner plates are topped with pumpkin adorned salad plates that pick up on the blue hues of the wool throw.

I can’t imagine a more lovely place to unpack a picnic basket and enjoy an elegant little meal with someone special! We gazed out at the lake and watched a couple of paddle boarders glide by peacefully on the water.

No matter where you find yourself dining this autumn, set a pretty table and enjoy the company and the surroundings, be it lakeside, or in your home!

  1. I have driven through Maryland going to Kentucky and the scenery was stunning. Not so much the snow as we were coming down the mountain into Cumberland Gap. I now live in Maryland near the Delaware border.
The dinnerware is really nice that you used. And you have some gorgeous pictures.

  2. Beautiful Chloe….what a lovely setting for picnic and your colors are amazing and the fold- ing chairs and table are perfect. I could toss down a blanket and grab a book and stay for hours.
