Celebrate Your Story! #152

Link Party

This week we welcome the month of November.  Here in the US that means Thanksgiving is just a few short weeks away.  Preparations are beginning for Thanksgiving meals, visiting family and friends and a few of you might already be doing some Christmas shopping.  I will have a house full for Thanksgiving this year and I am looking forward to preparing all of my family’s traditional favorites.  I will be making my Nutter Butter Turkeys with my granddaughters this year to place at every place setting and to gift a few friends.  Do you have a favorite treat you make for Halloween or Thanksgiving?

Featured Links from Last Week:

I had to pick a great Halloween post to feature this week!  It was easy once I spotted this link up from Amber from Follow the Yellow Brick Home. Her Halloween Decor with a Touch of Whimsy.   Her skeletons and witches are perfect and even Beethoven got dressed up for the occasion!

A perennial favorite blogger with Sandra is All That’s Jas. Jas’ Purple Pig Copycat Pork Neck Bone Gravy caught Sandra’s attention last week, a recipe that can be paired with a crusty bread.  Head over to see the recipe.

Kari’s pick this past week is perfect for gatherings of family and friends this winter.  This Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole from Poinsettia Drive will serve up a crowd with a hot and filling dish!

Everyone else must have been interested in a little more Halloween decor since When Halloween Nears…Witches Appear from Dinner at Eight was the most clicked link last week.  Check out the cute tablescape!
