Celebrate Your Story! #194

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome to another Celebrate Your Story!  I am so happy to have you here, but I have some news.  Next week will be my last Celebrate Your Story link up.  I have struggled with this decision, as I enjoy all of the posts you all are so kind to come and link up, but have decided it is time for me to move on.  I will still be blogging regularly here at Celebrate & Decorate, and want to focus my time on more home projects.  I don’t yet know if Kari and Rebecca are going to continue hosting, but I will hopefully let you know next week.  Thank you for your understand, and I hope you will still stop by on occasion and say, “hello”.

Mary Beth from A Southern Inspired Life has me all fall inspired with her lovely post, Gather Here – The Backyard Fire pit. I know it doesn’t get cold enough for this kind of snuggling much in Florida, but I can dream about it, can’t I?  A pair of black and white buffalo check candles atop a pair of crisp white candleholdersI really love the simplicity of these Buffalo Check DIY Candles from Leanna at Faeries and Fauna.  You really need to click over and check out the before of the candlesticks!  What a change she made and a great base to display her DIY candles!  Caramel apples on display on a vintage kitchen scale. You think I picked delicious caramel apples to feature, don’t you?  Guess again!  Fresh Vintage by Lisa S. featured these, (dare I say) ADORABLE, faux caramel apples and how to make them!!!  I see a tiered tray of these cuties in my fall kitchen, how about yours?

Sunflowers in a basket to hang on a front doorThe most clicked link last week came to us from The Painted Apron.  Jenna is such a talented artist, but this time she set down the paint brushes and made this cute basket with sunflowers for her door!  This is such a simple project to bring a cottage look to any door inside or out!

Make sure you stop over at
Me and My Captain , and Zucchini Sisters to see if you have been featured on one of those blogs!
