The official first day of Spring has arrived and it is time to share another Spring Tablescape.  What can say Spring more than daffodils and iris?  Fun yellow and white gingham placemats are the base for my bright yellow and white table setting. It looks like Spring inside even if that is ice and snow on Lake Erie outside the window!

Everyday glassware was fine for this casual table.    These are the Cheers pattern from Mikasa. As I have gotten in the habit of doing lately, a simple purple ribbon to pick up the color in the iris was all that was needed to gather my napkins at each place setting.
I took this photo so you could see the simplicity of this modern space.  The table and chairs were from our previous home and fit so well here.  The chandelier was also in a previous home that was cabin styled, a coat of white paint and shades on the lights has made it work here for now.  We always have our eye out for the right chandelier for this space, I am sure we will eventually find it.

Simple stainless flatware from Crate and Barrel is our everyday flatware.  I mixed a round yellow plate on top of white square dinner plates and topped them with a white square salad bowl. What I love best about our Ohio condominium is the view.  At night the lights of Cleveland are just beautiful, and it is always fun to see what color the Terminal Tower has been lit in each night.

Wishing you a quick Spring with lots of daffodils to brighten your day!

    1. Thank you so much, Liz! Yes, this is a 2nd home. I don’t get there very often, but my husband has offices in Cleveland, Orlando and NYC. He needed a place to call home when in Ohio, and this condo fills the bill. A high rise with services so if we aren’t there for a month, whatever mail or packages arrive are held in the mail room.

  1. Chloe, I love the table decor. The yellow and purple look beautiful together! I also love the glassware and the modern look of your dining room! Hugs!
