Fall Kitchen Decorating Ideas
As the crisp days of fall settle in, it’s time to bring the warmth of the season into your kitchen. In this post, I’ll be sharing simple yet beautiful ways to decorate your kitchen for autumn. From a wicker tray styled with lanterns wrapped in bittersweet vines and fall leaves, to an arrangement of gourds, pumpkins, and dried hydrangeas, you’ll find inspiration to create cozy, inviting spaces. I’ll also show you how to style tiered trays for fall, hang oak leaf wreaths on your walls, and incorporate seasonal dishes to make your kitchen a true autumn haven.

“K” is for kitchen in my latest alphabet series!

If you have any wall space, or in my case this wall of glass fronted cabinets, a kraft paper scroll sign like this one from Journey Decor is a great way to add a fall message to your kitchen. The addition of fall leaf garlands around the sign is another way to incorporate those autumn elements.

Rounding up your decor with a tray like this one, or a tiered tray is a good way to keep your decorations from getting knocked around on your counter or island. The lanterns are a pair I spotted on Amazon.

Add fall elements to your display. Gourds and pumpkins, fall leaves and apples. I like to keep some fall themed plates and small wooden snack bowls close by for seasonal snacking or a quick sandwich for lunch.

Display items that bring you joy. This little plaid fox has been a little fellow I have displayed for years.

After a flood in our house we did a long planned kitchen renovation. This spot over my cooktop was something I knew I would want to decorate for all of the holidays and seasons. This year I added a trio of oak leaf wreaths to the space above my cooktop.

One additional oak leaf wreath is hanging on the backsplash by my cooktop.

If you are looking for a beautiful simple fall leaf wreath, you can’t beat this $30.00 wreath from Target!

I purchased my oak leaf wreaths years ago, but if you want to look of oak leaves, this 24 inch wreath from Home Depot is a winner!

An autumn sign is an easy way to add a seasonal touch to your kitchen.

If you don’t have much counter space in your kitchen consider adding something as simple as this galvanized watering can and a little truck filled with tiny pumpkins. I decoupaged fall paper napkins to the watering can for a fall look.

Tiered trays are a great way to add seasonal decorations but keeping them organized and out of your way in the kitchen. You can find lots more Fall Tiered Decor Ideas with that link.

There are so many collections you can buy for just a few dollar to customize your own tiered tray for fall.

An easy and quick way to add a touch of autumn color to your kitchen is seasonal kitchen towels. These also make a lovely hostess gift this season!
