A Gingerbread Christmas

A Christmas Home Tour

My Gingerbread Christmas

On Sunday I shared my sweet treat of a Candy Themed Christmas Tree, and today I will show you more of my confectionary crazy Christmas.

The mantel was the perfect spot to arrange a little village of gingerbread houses.

Nearby I have taken all of the blankets off of my vintage ladder and and decked it with an assortment of gingerbread men.  You can see more of my ladder at Unique Christmas Decoration.

A simple DIY gingerbread man garland hangs above a firebox filled with oversized gifts and ornaments.

Just a couple of my gingerbread men peeking off of the tree!

As much as I hunted for gingerbread ribbon early in the season, I couldn’t find it before I began my decorating, so this is the only piece that got the gingerbread ribbon treatment.

I originally made and displayed this piece over my kitchen cupboards but I decided my sideboard was the perfect spot for this group of gingerbread men to dance.  Can’t you imagine a cozy little gingerbread family tucked into this sweet little cottage while the snow swirls all about the outdoors.

Are you ready to visit these amazing homes for some seriously awesome Christmas decor inspiration?

A big thank you to Sherry at Savvy Apron, Carol at The Red Painted Cottage, and Nicki of Sweet Parrish Place for all of the hard work in organizing this tour!
