I was all set last year to plan for a Winter Wonderland tree this year.  I did my shopping for all kinds of things on sale after Christmas last year, garlands and ornaments and stems and picks.  Life has a way of changing directions on us, and my life changed this year.  Until next summer I have my two preschool granddaughters living with me, so I wanted to make this a Christmas for them to remember.

Lollipops and candy canes can be found all over my tree of treats and sweets.  Ribbon tails are tucked throughout my tree.

Gingerbread men of all kinds and giant candy canes beckon little children to the tree.

Even glittery cupcakes can be found among the branches!

In addition to the sweets, my tree is laden with traditional red, green and white ornaments.

We moved our tree this year and I love having it displayed in front of this mirror, which multiplies all of the decorations by two!

Mr. Jinx the elf is busy baking up gingerbread men!  He was an addition to my Christmas decorations last year!

A few of Jinx’s fellow elves can be found trimming the tree with confections!

Now let’s check out the rest of the beautiful Christmas Trees!

  1. What a perfect tree for children. Your grandchildren must be so excited. Its absolutely going to be a tree they remember and there’s nothing more important. Your tree is spectacularly well put together and beautiful.

  2. So, so pretty Chloe…I love all the vibrant red and green. Definitely a traditional Christmas Tree and I know your little grands love it. It is so wonderful to experience Christmas from the eyes and hearts of little ones. What a joyful and fun time for you all. Your tree is lovely.Hugs

  3. Ah, Chloe. Wonderful photos of your Christmas theme. Having worked for large craft stores as a designer…I did years of themed trees. Sometimes as many as 12 different for the store. This is adorable and I love the baker elf. Only thing I theme now is the kitchen which ‘waffles’ between peppermint and just baking! Great post!

  4. How lovely. I love the candy theme. Wishing you and yours a Blessed Christmas and Happy, and peaceful 2019.
