Celebrate Your Story! #116

Link Party

Is spring here yet?  Maybe not, but that doesn’t mean we cannot start planning.  I am very excited to see the fun upcoming posts for both Saint Patrick’s Day and Easter, which are just around the corner already. Of course as spring approaches we should see a plethora cleaning and organizational tips, home improvement projects, gardening ideas, and new designs for our outdoor spaces.  This is why I love having this forum so we can share all of our great ideas and projects.  I encourage you to share and invite new bloggers to join in on our link party each week so we keep our community growing and the inspirations flowing!

Having a new homemade cookie recipe handy is always a good idea, which is probably why these yummy cookies were the most clicked link from last week’s link party.  For the recipe on these decadent Texas Sheet Cake Cookies stop by Living on Cloud Nine.

If you know my blog, you know that I love to make a statement with my front porch.  I love how an entry way can be dressed up for the various seasons and holidays to create a warm and inviting first impression of your home.  One fabulous way to capitalize on that first impression is by choosing a fresh color to paint your front door.  Lolly Jane featured a great post last week exhibiting a series of doors painted in various shades of pink!

I wanted to feature both of the posts submitted by Petite Haus last week.  The first was all about decorating with tulips, and the second about Angelina’s quest to design her dream kitchen.  The pictures of both are just gorgeous and I encourage you to visit and see them all!

Sandra’s featured this lovely romantic and delicate looking tablescape created by Rita at Panoply.  This table was very pretty and had so many great design elements; the plate stack alone was gorgeous as you can see in the photograph above.

Sandra also featured Marilyn’s various recipes for donuts from fruity pebbles to old fashioned apple fritters. For all the mouth watering pictures and recipes for these sweet treats head over to Marilyns Treats !

  1. Thanks for the party, Chloe! It’s warming up in Charleston, but we’ll probably have at least one more brush with winter. I’m in a spring time crafting mood though! Hope you have a lovely week!

  2. Thank you for being so supportive of other bloggers. I think parties are the best social media strategy around!! I linked my Broasted Chicken, Fish and Chips and my Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Black Bean Chili for that down home comfort meal. I hope you enjoy them. Have a happy week! #OverTheMoon #WWBlogHop #ThursdayFavoriteThings
