Celebrate Your Story! #155

Link Party

Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away!  Have you started thawing your frozen turkey? Are you a briner or not?  I have never brined a turkey and I have always had raves about how moist my turkey is.  I think it might have something to do with the copious amounts of butter I use tucked under the skin of my turkeys.  Do you stuff your bird?  I do stuff my turkey and I also have another casserole of stuffing.  I use my own recipe of sausage and apple stuffing.  I hope you are going to have the opportunity to gather with family and/or friends this week.  I mentioned last week it is all about Christmas for me now and I have been decorating like crazy this past week.  I shared my blanket ladder and will be sharing more over the coming weeks!

  1. Thanks for the party, Chloe. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I don’t brine my turkey either. Years ago I started using Italian dressing as a marinade and if I ever make it without using that, my family is disappointed. I have cornbread dressing instead of turkey. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Christmas decor is going up here on Friday.

  2. Ha. I just read over my comment. It should read: Cornbread dressing instead of stuffing and I guess I really, really wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving since I did it twice. 🙂

  3. Kari, Chloe & Sandra, Thank you so much for the feature. It’s always a great honor to be featured among so many fabulous tablescapers. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
