I have been rushing fall the entire month of August!  I am ready for Halloween and here it is the first of September!  My tablescape today is really an early fall interpretation of the season, not a full blown Thanksgivingy-styled fall tablescape (that one will be coming in October!Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

I decided my fall tablescape would be all about the falling leaves.  Sadly I don’t get much pretty leaf color here in central Florida, but that didn’t stop me from styling my table around the pretty fall colors.   Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

Oversized square dinner plates rimmed with pretty oak and maple leaves and clusters of acorns were the perfect choice for my fall leaf table.  A set of napkins with embroidered maple leaves in fall colors would complement my table perfectly.  Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

My patio table from Pier One Imports on the front porch was the perfect spot for my fall table.  Fall Tablescape Blog HopA chocolate brown salad plate is the perfect contrast to the busy print on my dinner plates.  I picked up these coppery stemware from Home Goods a couple of years ago and keep my eye out for more to add to my collection.  Fall Tablescape Blog HopNapkins were rolled with the leaves on the top and gently tied with a brown satin ribbon.  For texture, I added some nubby placemats beneath each place setting.Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

  14. Beautiful table Chloe, those square plates are my favorite. Love that large pumpkin in the center. I have been wanting to do a centerpiece like that, I am going to have a hard time passing up a large pumpkin next time I see it to do one of those. Thanks for organizing the blog hop, happy to be a part of it!

I do love fall, and now that September is here, I hope to soon be enjoying the coming season in my own home and garden. Thanks for another assemblage of blogs.

  16. Chloe, as always, your table is stunning! I love seeing all the fall leaves and foilage (since we don’t get much down here in our neck of the woods!) I really like how you used the large pumpkin as the vessel for your centerrpiece- great idea! wishing you a wonderful fall- so fun blog hopping with you this week!

  17. Chloe, your table, and your front porch make me want to drop by for a cup of mulled apple cider – I vote for spiked! I especially love your pumpkin centerpiece. Your porch is so beautiful – you must spend so much time out there! Thank you so much for organizing these hops. These events are some of my favorite collaborations. 1. Thank you so much Kim, I would love to have you join me! We are sitting out there right now while the rain is pouring down! My husband just remarked that since we got the front porch finished we never sit on the back porch! Thank you so much for joining the hop!

  18. I love everything about your table! I saw how you made the pumpkin centerpiece and I want to try it. Where did you find that really pretty faux pumpkin? So many are not that pretty!!!! And your brown dishes reminded me of some brown and green dishes hubby and I began “housekeeping ” with many years ago. I need to dig those out and make a tablescape! One more thing…you always have the prettiest tablecloths! 🙂

    1. Thank you Sheila! I have been trying to go a little more simple with my tables, but that will probably fly out the window with the upcoming holidays! Can you believe someone had put that gorgeous pumpkin out for the trash? It didn’t bother me, I stopped and picked up that baby and took it home. It has a couple of small dents in it, but it looks fine. I saw some at Michaels that were as large, but they were EXPENSIVE! Thank you about my tablecloth…for the most party they come from Home Goods. You can’t beat those prices! The little brown salad plates came from Old Time Pottery!

  19. So gorg! I love this table setting. Especially since it outdoors. Those are my favorite kinds! I love your goblets! They give the setting some sparkle! Thanks so much for putting together a great bloghop!
