I have been rushing fall the entire month of August!  I am ready for Halloween and here it is the first of September!  My tablescape today is really an early fall interpretation of the season, not a full blown Thanksgivingy-styled fall tablescape (that one will be coming in October!Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

I decided my fall tablescape would be all about the falling leaves.  Sadly I don’t get much pretty leaf color here in central Florida, but that didn’t stop me from styling my table around the pretty fall colors.   Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

Oversized square dinner plates rimmed with pretty oak and maple leaves and clusters of acorns were the perfect choice for my fall leaf table.  A set of napkins with embroidered maple leaves in fall colors would complement my table perfectly.  Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

My patio table from Pier One Imports on the front porch was the perfect spot for my fall table.  Fall Tablescape Blog HopA chocolate brown salad plate is the perfect contrast to the busy print on my dinner plates.  I picked up these coppery stemware from Home Goods a couple of years ago and keep my eye out for more to add to my collection.  Fall Tablescape Blog HopNapkins were rolled with the leaves on the top and gently tied with a brown satin ribbon.  For texture, I added some nubby placemats beneath each place setting.Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

  1. Beautiful Chloe…and thank you so much for hosting this blog hop. I love your copper stemware altho I don’t recall them at my HomeGoods or I would have snatched them up. (Sometimes my HomeGoods is a bit on the day late and a dollar short for beautiful items) 🙂 I also like your chocolate dinner plates and matching napkin ribbon.
Your Tablescape looks inviting …lets set down and have a cuppa! 😉

    1. Thank you so much Kari, and thank you for being a part of the hop! I know you have to have a bit of luck when you get to Home Goods! I feel like I should go in there every day, but my purse wouldn’t like it!

  2. Chloe, you are so busy, so we thank you for all you do for bloghops for us!
I agree your front porch was a great place for your fall table. You put together some wonderful elements today. I especially like your copper goblets and gold flatware. Your tablecloth and those embroidered leaf napkins make your table really pop as well as the chocolate brown plates a top the square leaf and berries plate.
Thanks for organizing us and inspiring us!

  5. Thank you so much for taking the time to organize these blog hops, we all appreciate the time and energy you put into them. This table is quintessential fall and I love it! The pieces that you chose can be used right through Thanksgiving and interchanged perfectly. The embroidered napkins are so pretty and the silk ribbon is just enough of an accent. I hope you’ve planned a little R&R so that you can enjoy the holiday weekend.

  7. Hi Chloe, I love your Fairytale pumpkin! It’s perfect as a centerpiece for your falling leaves table with its leafy top! I have a set of four goblets in red that I found at HomeGoods that are cousins to your copper ones, and I keep hoping I’ll run across more. Thanks so much for organizing our blog hop, it’s always fun to have a seat at your virtual table!

  8. Chloe, I love the porch setting with the furniture from Pier 1…what a lovely place to dine alfresco. When I think autumn, I think falling leaves and you carried the theme out beautifully! The large square dinner plates with autumn leaves, chocolate salad plate, and copper stemware speak that fall is in the air. I love mixing the gold flatware with the copper! What a privilege to dine at this table! Thank you for organizing and hosting the blog hops, they are loads of fun and inspirational

    1. Thank you Pam, my husband and I have enjoyed our front porch so much since we finished furnishing and styling it. I enjoy these hops they really make me take the time to concentrate on blogs and bloggers other than my own, which is a great way to gain inspiration for one’s own creativity. Your tables are always such a rich addition to the blog hops!

  9. Oh Chloe, I LOVE those chocolate ribbons!! And the big fat pumpkin spilling over with leaves that even landed on the plates and napkins! The chocolate plates are wonderful too, as is the mix of textures. There is no doubt that Fall has arrived at your house! Thank you so much for keeping our hop together, each hop gets better and better!

  10. Chloe, your tablescape is so beautiful, festive and inviting! I really like the theme you chose and you’ve coordinated all the perfect pieces for “falling leaves”. The leaf plates are wonderful and the brown ones contrast nicely with them. Spectacular tablecloth as a backdrop and of course, the centerpiece is spot on! Your pretty porch and furniture add to the tablescape’s appeal.
Thank you so much for hosting another Blog Hop! I really appreciate all the effort you put into doing it and how welcoming and patient you are with all of us.

  13. Dear Chloe, first at all thank you for this beautiful blog hop. I really enjoy to share my passion for tablescaping with so many talented Ladies!
Then, your table setting is gorgeous: falling leaves is a perfect theme for early Fall days !

    1. Thank you for joining us again, and you are welcome! A little over a year ago I was feeling sorry for myself because I had never been invited to a blog hop, so what did I do? I started my own and am so happy to have connected with all of you talented bloggers! You are my blogging tribe!!!

  14. Beautiful table Chloe, those square plates are my favorite. Love that large pumpkin in the center. I have been wanting to do a centerpiece like that, I am going to have a hard time passing up a large pumpkin next time I see it to do one of those. Thanks for organizing the blog hop, happy to be a part of it!

  15. Very nice, Chloe. I love both your tablescape and your porch furniture. Even though I wasn’t a part of this blog hop, I fully enjoyed participating in all the gorgeous tables through readership and commenting. I do love fall, and now that September is here, I hope to soon be enjoying the coming season in my own home and garden. Thanks for another assemblage of blogs.

  16. Chloe, as always, your table is stunning! I love seeing all the fall leaves and foilage (since we don’t get much down here in our neck of the woods!) I really like how you used the large pumpkin as the vessel for your centerrpiece- great idea! wishing you a wonderful fall- so fun blog hopping with you this week!

  17. Chloe, your table, and your front porch make me want to drop by for a cup of mulled apple cider – I vote for spiked! I especially love your pumpkin centerpiece. Your porch is so beautiful – you must spend so much time out there! Thank you so much for organizing these hops. These events are some of my favorite collaborations. I am endlessly inspired by all of you lovely ladies! Thank you for including me! xoxo

    1. Thank you so much Kim, I would love to have you join me! We are sitting out there right now while the rain is pouring down! My husband just remarked that since we got the front porch finished we never sit on the back porch! Thank you so much for joining the hop!

  18. I love everything about your table! I saw how you made the pumpkin centerpiece and I want to try it. Where did you find that really pretty faux pumpkin? So many are not that pretty!!!! And your brown dishes reminded me of some brown and green dishes hubby and I began “housekeeping ” with many years ago. I need to dig those out and make a tablescape! One more thing…you always have the prettiest tablecloths! 🙂

    1. Thank you Sheila! I have been trying to go a little more simple with my tables, but that will probably fly out the window with the upcoming holidays! Can you believe someone had put that gorgeous pumpkin out for the trash? It didn’t bother me, I stopped and picked up that baby and took it home. It has a couple of small dents in it, but it looks fine. I saw some at Michaels that were as large, but they were EXPENSIVE! Thank you about my tablecloth…for the most party they come from Home Goods. You can’t beat those prices! The little brown salad plates came from Old Time Pottery!

  19. So gorg! I love this table setting. Especially since it outdoors. Those are my favorite kinds! I love your goblets! They give the setting some sparkle! Thanks so much for putting together a great bloghop!
