A lemon lime tablescape kind of snuck upon me. I have been trying to cut out diet sodas. Adding lemon and lime to water or drinking flavored sparkling water has been a good alternative. Start out with a bunch of faux lemons.
Green and white houndstooth placemats will be the base, topped with a green leaf placemat. Yellow Nicole Miller dinner plates are topped with green salad plates from The Pioneer Woman Collection at Walmart.
Originally I was only going to use the houndstooth placemats by themselves, but the leaf placemats on top of the houndstooth added a little “pop”. Aren’t those salad plates adorable?
Green and white striped napkins are folded over fringe-edge yellow ones. I wrapped an artificial lemon with a wired stem around each napkin and adorned with a faux lemon slice and a real lime!
Flatware for this table called for something casual. These Ikea Rustik flatware sets are available through Amazon if you don’t have an Ikea near you.
My Bali Highball glasses with their casual feel seemed like the perfect glasses to fill with some lime Perrier.
The tutorial for the centerpiece can be found at How to Make a Lemon Lime Centerpiece. The table on my front porch is a perfect setting for my lemon lime tablescape!
How bright and springtime fresh! I wish I could enjoy a nice lunch with you at that table.
Thanks so much! I love to play hostess!
Wow I love how happy and fresh this looks! Love the pattern on the placemats and the combined napkins. Your centerpiece arrangement is fabulous!
I cut out pop 2 years ago due to being diabetic. I drink iced tea these days only enhanced by lemons.
Chloe, I love the freshness of your table with its yellow, greens, and whites. Lemons and limes say warm weather has arrived and the centerpiece is fabulous! Your overhead shot is amazing!
Thank you so much Pam, that is such a lovey complement coming from you! Your tables are always perfection!
Very cute!! I feel refreshed just looking at your table!!
Thank you so much, Ann! I am trying to enjoy as much time outside as I can before it gets too hot out!
Absolutely love anything lemon! This tablescape is beautiful. Fresh, inviting and I feel like I need a cup of lemonade too! LOL! Love it all. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thank you so much Cindy! Time to mix up the lemonade!
It’s beautiful Chloe! I love this bright, fresh table setting, just right for this season and summer. I would love to join you at your beautiful table for a cool glass of lemonade. xo Lidy
Thank you so much! You are so sweet!
Pinning away this morning. I love this table! Looks like a magazine.
Chloe, I want to sit at your pretty lemon and lime table. I adore your overhead shot. How high did you have to get my friend. it is stunning as usual.
Thank you! Just my 6 foot step ladder with a nice handle in front of me to make sure I don’t topple over! We need to meet halfway and style a couple of tables together!
So pretty and refreshing.
Marilyn
Chloe, this is adorable! The overhead shot looks like a huge bouquet.
I drink lemon in my water all day, every day, and it really makes a difference in the amount I consume.
I am so ready to move forward in our new home and get back to pretty tables! We are mostly settled, I just have more things to sift through from the former home before we turn over the keys. Countdown to a less-cluttered lifestyle!
Have a great weekend.
Sitting down at this refreshing table would be a real treat. With so many lemons, lemonade (with or without an addition!) should be on the menu. Tart citrus somehow beats the heat better than anything else.
