Icy Blue and White Christmas Tree

I am so happy to once again be joining a wonderful collection of bloggers who will all be showcasing their own beautiful Christmas trees. I thank Michelle of Our Crafty Mom for once again organizing this lovely occasion!

Each and every Christmas I do something a little different with my tree. I really didn’t want to buy anything new for the tree this year.

My husband suggested I use all of the coastal ornaments that I used a few years ago. You can revisit that tree in my 40 Amazing Christmas Trees post. I just didn’t want to do the same thing I had done just a few years ago.

It was decided! I could use all of the blue and white and silver ornaments and ribbons from the coastal tree along with the snowy and icy ornaments used for my Frozen Themed Ice Cream Social tree!

In addition to ornaments, I love to add flowers. Snowy white hyacinths and poinsettias add an additional texture to the tree.

Of course, a collection of white doves alight all over the tree, too!

If it works for you, as it does for me, one of the best things you can do is place your tree in front of a mirror! The reflection of all of the ornaments and lights enhances the magical look and feel of your tree, especially at night!

  1. Fabulous tree, Chloe! You always know how to beautifully design and style anything you put your mind to! What a talent! Isn’t it fun seeing how you can make it look different using the same items? I didn’t want to buy anything for my trees this year, either. In fact, it’s hard finding unusual purple ornaments! I’ve been on a search to no avail. Certain colors are cyclical and this is not the year for purple! lol!

  2. Your tree looks magical. What are the big flowers you have tucked in are those hyacinth? It is really great in front of the mirror so you get twice the light. It really fits your space perfectly. I see why you make your husband do the top.

  3. What a lush and dramatic tree, Chloe! I love your icy blue theme…the color of your ribbon reminds me of a Tiffany’s box. The white flowers and doves, blue ornaments and shimmering snowflakes complement each other so well. I bet it looks amazing against that huge mirror! Pinned 🙂

  4. Stunning Chloe! The combo of beach and icy blue plus white flowers is simply gorgeous! I had to laugh when I read that your husband suggested doing a tree like you did a few years ago, , heaven forbid us creative types do the same thing twice!! I think it’s extra satisfying to come up with something different without buying a thing! It is truly gorgeous and your mirror tip is fantastic! You are ready for December and a wonderful holiday season!

  5. It’s beautiful, am loving the icy blue theme. It’s amazing how you can completely transform the tree just by switching out and reusing ornaments in a different way. And adding the flowers really makes a statement!

  6. Your tree is Beautifully Decorated. I love the icy look as I do the same with our tree. I use cool white led string lights & some twinkle. Have clear glass icicles & also have white frosted icicles. I also have a variety of snowflakes, Then do glass ornaments of pine cones, metal deer & a variety of clear and frosted glass ornaments. Pops of color are copper, gold and teal blue.We have deer year round on our 10 acres, tons of pine trees and decided to do woodland. The deer on your TikTok table scape was sold out at our local Michael’s. No shipping & closest store that had it was 2 hrs away. Happy Thanksgiving, JoJo from Aiken Sc

    1. I am so sorry you missed out on the deer, perhaps they will sell it again next year. It is so wonderful that you have all of those trees. In Florida, the only real greenery I have outdoors to use is magnolia.
