Christmas Home Tour
Welcome to my holiday home tour! Step inside as I share how I’ve transformed my home into a festive haven filled with seasonal cheer. From the twinkling lights on the tree to the cozy layers of holiday decor, each room is styled to celebrate the magic and warmth of this special season. Whether it’s elegant tablescapes, charming vignettes, or a touch of whimsy here and there, my goal is to inspire you to create your own holiday magic. So grab a cup of cocoa, settle in, and let’s tour the spaces that make my home merry and bright!
Just a little touch of decor was added to the foyer. An artificial evergreen garland is draped along the back of this blue console and preserved boxwood wreaths have been added to the pair of Pottery Barn lanterns that offer a warm glow to this space each evening.

First up is the formal living room. My tree this year is decked out in silver and white. A beautiful six foot long peacock is perched toward the top with her long tail flowing down the tree.

I can’t let the piano go naked for Christmas. A glistening snowflake is displayed next to a pair of white ginger jars. A tall white vase is filled with evergreens and holly. Some snowy branches and holly nestle along the base of these items along with a silvery reindeer.

This lovely Lladro nativity was a gift from me to my husband in our early marriage. When my daughter was just a toddler, I remember her picking up the baby Jesus and bringing it to me holding it delicately in her hands and telling me, “baby”.

I spend plenty of time in the kitchen this time of year baking up dozens and dozens of Christmas cookies. Glass fronted cabinets are decked out with faux evergreen wreaths trimmed with red velvet ribbons. I hang these from Command hooks attached upside down inside the cabinet doors.

When I spotted this sign at Michaels, I knew it was coming home with me! Yes, it has been said many times and many ways, but take this as my Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you! A pair of ornate light up faux gingerbread houses are flanked with a cute Santa holding a pair of gingerbread cookies!

Up above my cooktop you can spot Jinx the elf. Jinx is in charge of providing three (heavily sugar based) meals a day to the elves at the Santa Supply Company. Cooking was never Jinx’s passion. There is often complaints about undercooked cakes and not enough sugar on the cookies. Jinx has asked Santa several times to be promoted to Toy Production. Santa has explained to Jinx several times that he needs to see more passion and attention to detail in his work and so at this time he is not promotable.

A tiered tray is close by with plenty of little gingerbread snack plates whenever one might want to indulge in some holiday treats!

Santa mugs are ready to filled with hot cocoa and candy canes are always kept in supply in my Christmas kitchen!

Every door in the house is decked out with an artificial evergreen wreath trimmed with a red velvet ribbon. That last door on the right is the door to the room my granddaughters stay in when they come to visit. The middle door on the right is the powder room. A nativity is perched on a mirrored chest and snowflake fingertip towels are next to the sink.

Across from these doors are built in bookshelves. If you look around them, you will see all kinds of little Christmas items peeking here and there! My favorite thing of all is this Santa’s boot bank. The rubber stopper on the bottom has long ago dried up and disintegrated. The first year my husband and I were dating in high school, this was a Christmas gift from my dear mother in law. She is no longer with us, but I treasure bringing this out every year.

Since my granddaughters came to visit for Thanksgiving, I had their room trimmed out for Christmas, including their very own tree. Sparkling lights and simple bows of holiday plaid are all this tree needed. Red quilts along with red and white striped pillow cases dress the beds along with some sweet Christmas message pillows.

How magical is it to fall asleep beneath a sparkling Christmas tree!

Welcome to my family room. This is the place where we gather. My mantel is decorated with thich artificial garlands and adorned with generous amounts of large sugar cones, golden jingle bells and pheasant feathers for a natural look. A painting is replaced with a festive Christmas artwork.

We don’t have an actual fire place. In the firebox I have a pair of oversized baskets. One of the baskets is filled with more of the golden bells and the second is with the sugar cones. A pair of bronze and gold reindeer and another wooden box filled with vintage look Christmas pillows add to the coziness of the room.
One end of the mantel is flanked with a pair of lanterns. Flameless candles are clustered inside the lanterns and come on at the same time every evening.

The other end of the mantel is hedged with a leaping reindeer festooned with a wreath.

Nearby the leaping reindeer, planted in a collection of wooden crates sits a gathering of three Christmas trees with nothing but little white lights.

My coffee table has a substantial artificial arrangement accented with faux red poinsettias. Nearby a pair of ornate Fitz and Floyd reindeer candle holders hold court.

A pair of shuttered cabinets also are embellished with wreaths with red velvet bows.

Moving on to the tavern room where we host large dinners and parties, my dough bowl is filled with three little trees with artificial snow around the bases of them.

My oversized chalkboard is decorated with Christmas houses and framed with artificial garlands.

In addition to the doors to all of the rooms, even the doors on this armoire get their own wreaths!

Last but not least is our primary bedroom. My husband likes me to keep it “not too decorated” for the holidays. I have added some garlands and french blue bows along the top of our board and batten walls.

I don’t change out my linens for Christmas, but I was lucky to discover this cute nutcracker pillow from Society 6 last year. The colors are just right for a pop of Christmas color in my bedroom.

I spotted this blue and white nutcracker pillow at Home Goods this year. A perfect addition to my bedroom holiday decor.

The barn doors to the bathroom get the same wreath treatment, but with the french blue and silver bows.

Between the mirrors in the bathroom are boxwood wreaths with blue satin ribbons.

Fun snowflakes accent the shower door and glass wall. A pair of snowflake trimmed fingertip towels are folded on top of the stack of towels I keep in the shower.
On the other side of the bedroom are double doors to the closet with the same doors with wreaths.

Beautiful Chloe! Your home is so festive and I love the blue ribbons on your wreaths – so perfect for your lovely decor. Thanks for all the great ideas, and Merry Christmas!
I absolutely love the yellow centerpiece. I can’t wait to do it for my daughters Bridal Shower. Thanks for the inspiration.
So festive! I love it all! Where did you buy the chalkboard? Thanks for sharing, and I can’t wait to follow you to your new home.
