Big News from Celebration
I have missed all of you and the lovely comments from all of you! I feel like I am beginning to get my creative juices flowing again and will be bringing you all kinds of inspiration this coming year. It may be another couple of months before I am bringing you more crafts or tablescapes as I have BIG news!

During the holiday season, my husband pointed out we are missing so much of our granddaughters’ lives. Our daughter has settled in a new career after her six years of military service. With a purchase of a home in the Atlanta area, my husband and I have decided to join them. We will be selling our home in Celebration, Florida and moving to Georgia this spring. We have not yet found our new home in Georgia, but I assure you that there will be all kinds of new home decor things for me to share with you and new spaces to decorate for all of the holidays! Stay tuned for more news!
I am sure when it comes to a new house, I will be adding my own style like I did to our current home. If you missed the blog post about how we originally changed our fireplace, take a look at the transformation!

I hope that I don’t have to do these kind on transformations on the next house, but time will tell!

The style I embraced in this house was coastal, although I wanted a little bit of a feel of a classic yacht club. Before moving here we lived and sailed on Lake Erie. Therefore, you can find lots of nautical accents in this home.

I am not sure I will keep the coastal style when I decorate in Georgia, but we shall have to see what the house we find speaks to me. i am sure you will see most of our furniture used in new ways!
I promise to be back to visit with you soon!

So exciting Chloe. Good luck finding a new home. I look forward to seeing your new home!
I’m very excited for y’all. I hope the transition is smooth. I’m looking forward to see what you do with the new house. I recently found you about a year ago. I enjoy watching all the designs you create. I am striving to have a home that is relaxing and comfortable, not a show house, but someplace where I can come home and decompress. Right now I am struggling with my hobbies stash and letting go of items I no longer need or use.
I am glad you are moving closer to your daughter and grandkids. Family is everything! I look forward to all of your new decorating ideas!
Big changes coming your way! Seven years ago we moved from Miami to Raleigh to be closer to our military son and his family. While it was a huge adjustment (I’ve never lived where it snowed!), we haven’t regretted it for a moment. Your daughter and the grands are blessed! Looking forward to seeing all the changes as they occur. Best of luck!
How exciting. Good luck finding your dream home.
Wishing you the very best in your new adventure! It will be fantastic to see your daughter and granddaughters all the time.. just think of all the crafting you can do with them. I look forward to seeing your new home and how you are going to make it all yours!!
So exciting! I can’t wait to follow along on this next step of your journey!

Hi Chloe. We missed you. First. How is your father? You need to contact Susan over at Between Naps On The Porch to see if she has decided to sell my favorite southern home. With all of the people moving to Florida, your home should sell right away.
Before you sell, can we see the inside of your parents apartment ? I loved that concept over the garage.
I was looking out the window this morning while listening to all the school closures due to the snow storm I saw your email. I immediately thought that winter moves are not fun and then I remembered where you live and it won’t be so bad.
I will be looking forward to see all the changes you make. Congratulations and best wishes.
Hi Chloe,
How exciting! It sounds like a wonderful plan to be closer to family. I’m excited to see what you do next.
Kind regards, Susan
Thanks so much Susan! I am really looking forward to all of it!
