A Life in Celebration

A Life in Celebration

Wow, what happened?  Another Sunday passed and I didn’t post this!  It is okay!  I took a solid two weeks off from social media and this blog over the holidays, something I haven’t done in years.  It felt REALLY good.  My husband is off to work in Norway for a few days so yesterday I worked crazy hard on my editorial calendar for the year, so I am giving myself a break that this is being posted today!  If we can’t give ourselves a break, who will?

My Christmas decorations are all down and I am working on sorting through them and weeding out things I don’t want to hang onto for another year.  Do you plan out your Christmas decor for the next year when you are putting things away this year?  I do that.  There are a few things I will hang onto even if I don’t plan on using them next year.  It is nice to decide a general theme for the coming year and take advantage of the sales, particularly ribbons.   Can I tell you how happy I am to have all of the cookies and other treats out of the house?  It is time to start eating healthier!  I have been enjoying the cooler temps in Florida for getting out for long walks and just looking forward to living healthier in 2020. With lovely boardwalks like this, it is easy to get in my 10,000 steps a day!

Were you a Desperate Housewives fan?  I don’t think I ever watched it, but I still get a kick out of the fact that we have a Wisteria Lane, right here in Celebration! I am hosting a month long open Winter Tablescape link up!  I hope you will come by and share yours, OR just come by and take a peek at what everyone else is sharing!  Winter Wonderland Tablescapes

Mary from Home is where the boat is always wows me with here lovely tables!  Check out this one!  Who doesn’t love a snowman?

Stop by Calypso in the Country and see what Shelly has done to add some winter touches to her home!

  1. Hooray for you taking a break from social media! Taking walks sounds good. Too bad it’s so cold up here. Getting a walk in means going somewhere inside like the mall. Can’t wait for spring!

  2. Hi Chloe, Happy New Year. Taking a break is a very good thing, good for you. I got both of your posts together this morning in my inbox. I am not sure why that happens. I will try to link up. Wishing you a most healthy and happy 2020!
