A Life in Celebration

It is a very busy travel time for me once again! Are you wondering if I ever stay home? I am!! I flew from Dallas to Cleveland and had a wonderful visit with all of my husband’s brothers and their wives, gathered with a group of clients and friends and managed to get my hair done while I was there. Yes, crazy as it is, I still see my same hairdresser up in Cleveland when I am there! I got home on a Friday and left on Monday for a 4 night cruise with my sister and my dad. My sweet dad who is 96 years young really enjoys cruising and it is a special time with the three of us reminiscing.

Here are the magnets with lights we display on our cruise stateroom door. With the glowing lights it is easier for my dad, who has lost most of his eyesight to macular degeneration to find our door!

I arrived home on Friday from the cruise and got to work trying to add some spring decor to the house. I have these beautiful artificial cherry blossom branches that I display at home this time of year. These are the prettiest I have ever found and I tend to add another six stems of them to my collection each year! They are so full and so lifelike!

Now I am off to Beaufort, South Carolina to visit friends. We helped them celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary last evening! Back home tomorrow and doing an exciting project that involves a BIG BOW on Wednesday! In the meantime, check out what I did with all of these artificial butterflies to add a spring look to my door!

Here in Florida we are already enjoying spring like temperatures so I am working on cleaning up the front porch. I am sharing all kinds of ideas for decorating your front porch or patio for the coming season.
