A Tropical Summertime Tablescape

“B” IS FOR BIRDS

This is the second of my new Alphabet Series! I spotted these beautiful tropical bird salad plates at Anthropologie and broke my promise to myself to not buy any dishes this year! It was an easy decision to select these and “birds” as my “B” letter this week!

I began with tropical leaf placemats. These seemed like the perfect foundation for the charming tropical bird plates I used for the vibrant theme of the table.

My favorite open work porcelain chargers pair well with so many different plates. These chargers seem to make every place setting stand out.

To add color to my plate stack without fighting with the vibrant colors of the beautiful salad plates, I topped my chargers with these faux jadeite plates by The Pioneer Woman.

Featuring bright florals, spring birds, and decidedly tropical charm, these enchanting dessert plates are perfect for a summery tropical table. This set came from Anthropologie, but they are currently out of stock.

I used my faux bamboo handled flatware to keep with the tropical theme! I used soft pale blue napkins with this colorful table.

I used several of the same elements for this table that I used for the “Perfect Alfresco Table” so that I can show you how you can use your items over and over again, but create a totally different look with them.
