A Life in Celebration

This is the week! You get to vote on how I should decorate my tree for Christmas! Here is the link to go and vote! If you have any problems or questions, please reach out to me via email!

Here are some of the photos that have inspired me:

“B” is for Birds!

When I spotted these beautiful bird adorned plates at Anthropologie, I couldn’t resist! Click on over and see all of the details of this Tropical Tablescape!

Do you love tomatoes as much as I do? I love them just sliced or quartered, but even more I love them like this! Get the recipe for these delicious tomatoes! These make a great side dish for a diner party and add that nice pop of color to the plate, too!

Succulents are all the rage in home decor, but maintaining live plants can sometimes be a challenge. That’s where faux succulents come to the rescue, offering all the beauty with none of the upkeep. Today, I’m excited to share a fun and easy DIY project that transforms ordinary cans into charming faux succulent vases, wrapped in rustic twine.

My favorite things this week!

Remember, if you are shopping, I would LOVE for you to link from my shopping page!  If you do and make a purchase I make a small commission, at NO additional cost to you!

Okay, I admit it is early to start thinking about pumpkins, BUT, you and I both know that when August rolls around, a lot of the fall decor we really want to buy will be gone…sold out! Plan ahead with some of these finds!

Is this not the cutest ever s’mores maker??!!!! I am thinking this is the best summer gift ever! After I pick up my granddaughters from camp in August I am bringing them back to my house for a visit! S’mores making will be on the agenda one evening!

These decorative paper pumpkins are pricey, and I don’t think I will be indulging in them, but if they are in your budget, get them while they are available!

Did you know you can gift an experience to someone? I am not talking about sending someone to Wimbledon or the World Series, how about gifting a watercolor painting class, or a cooking class? They are priced quite reasonably! I am thinking about gifting one of the painting classes to my daughter and artistic granddaughter!

When I gathered with some of my blogging friends the previous week, one of the things I was so happy I had brought with me was a versatile power strip like this one! It was so handy since we were working on computers all day long, to be able to plug them in and keep on working as batteries ran low! I find these are great to put near the bedside stands in my guest rooms so that guests can keep all of their electronics powered up, too!

These are the perfect travel containers for shampoo, lotions and more! Grab these and you have them for your summer travel needs!

If you didn’t already know, I live in the little community that Disney developed! Yes, we have lots of Disney fanatics here and I know plenty of these folks are going to make sure they order one of these early, before they are sold out! How cute is this?!!!

I get really annoyed when I go to get out of the car and one of the cords from my phone charger get caught on my purse or something else. This is a fantastic retractable cord charger for your car! Perfect solution!

  1. Chloe, are there instructions for the tropical floral arrangement ? Outstanding colors.
Don’t forget Christmas in July at Marge’s.

    1. Thank you Myrna, no, I didn’t video the instructions for the tropical arrangement. I picked up two tropical bouquets from Trader Joe’s and used floral foam to arrangement in the container. Oh yes! We can’t miss Marge’s!
