Apple, Brie and Ham Tartines

Apple, Brie and Ham Tartines

Hamilton Beach provided me with an Air Fry Sure-Crisp Toaster Oven for this post.  All opinions are my own.

Leaving our home in Ohio also means leaving some of our favorite restaurants.  One place we really enjoyed going on a Saturday afternoon was a tiny little bistro called, Tartine.  A tartine is an open faced sandwich eaten with a fork and knife.

So…it is time for me to make your own tartines!   Begin with some crusty French bread cut into slices.  The great thing about this toaster oven/air fryer is that you are getting two appliances in the space of one!  We all need more counter space in our kitchens and for me, that makes this a winner!  Pop those bread slices into the toaster oven and toast them up!

While your bread is toasting, slice an apple (I selected Granny Smith) into thin slices.

Top each bread slice with a couple of thin slices of apple, some thin sliced ham and a slice of brie.  This little baking sheet comes with the air fryer/toaster oven.  I always like to use parchment paper to line my baking sheets to keep them clean.  You don’t want that cheese melting onto the baking sheet.  In to the preheated toaster oven.

Ten minutes later…YUM!!

Is your mouth watering?  Mine is, and I just enjoyed these for lunch!  Hot, melty, these are wonderful!

Ingredients:

6 Slices of Crusty French Bread
1 Granny Smith Apple Sliced Thin
6 Ounces of Black Forest Ham
6 Ounces of Sliced Brie

Directions:

Toast bread slices
Preheat the toaster oven to 350 degrees
While bread is toasting slice the apples
When the bread is toasted, layer the apples, and ham on the toasts.  Top each toast with a slice of brie.
Bake in the toaster oven for 10 minutes.
Serve hot with a fresh green salad and enjoy!

This Air Fry Sure-Crisp Toaster Oven is available at Target and would make a great Christmas gift!
