Celebrate Your Story! #111
Is it freezing where you are? I have returned from my trip to Ohio and am back in sunny Florida. We have had a little bit of cold for us, a nip of frost on the tips of my rosemary plants, but I hope all of you stay warm and cozy! Speaking of warm and cozy, I have finally gotten myself in gear and have a cute hot chocolate bar I will be featuring this week, along with my first ever deco mesh project! I hope you stop by! Have a great week!
My first pick this week was Carol’s lovely wintery décor. I love the simple and sophisticated looks she created, which are so welcoming after the busyness of the holidays. Her sheep and scrabble “brrrr,” was very cute too! Check out more great pictures at The Red Painted Cottage.
I must have wreaths and winter on my mind, because I also chose this fabulous DIY project from Fair Meadow Place. This great wreath was actually created from a scarf! For all the instructions on making this pretty wreath for your own home, click on the link above.
If you are looking to create a wonderful smell in your home, look no further because Chas has presented a fabulous and natural solution! Our most clicked link this week was this simmer pot from Chas’ Crazy Creations, which I am definitely trying out.
Are you starting to plan for a Super Bowl party? If so, this might be a great dish to elevate your event while avoiding the same old jar of salsa or chip dip. Sandra featured this delicious recipe for cheesy hot corn dip from The Kitchen is My Playground. Head over to see all the delicious creations Tracey has been whipping up!
My foodie co-host Sandra also featured this yummy dish for must-have scalloped potatoes presented by Jas this week. This recipe would be a delicious dish to accompany a great pork loin or fillet if you are feeling like indulging. Stop by All That’s Jas for all the details!

Thank you for hosting, Chloe! Great features!
Pam, thank you very much!
Thank you so very much for the feature and for hosting a wonderful place for all of us to share our projects 🙂
Nothing better than a clean, calm environment with good fragrance and good food smells in January! That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Thank you, Chloe, for bringing on the winter warmth. Even the deep South loves to get cozy, right?
Thank you Rita! I love the idea of a “calm environment,” after the chaos of the holidays.
hi Chloe, Love the furry white wreaths! Brrr, this winter has been too cold in the South! Thanks for hosting!
So glad you enjoyed our features. I think this cold streak definitely influenced our picks this week! Luckily, the forecasts are looking a bit warmer next week.
Thank you for featuring my winter wreath, Chloe and Sandra. Have a joyous week and stay warm if you are where it is cold like I am.
Thank you for hosting. I linked my Creamy Dill Pickle Soup, Sautéed Zucchini, and a Crescent Roll Veggie Pizza. I hope you enjoy them! Have a happy week! #OverTheMoon #WWBlogHop #ThursdayFavoriteThings
Thank you as always Marilyn, and anything with crescent rolls usually goes over well in my house!
Thanks so much for hosting!! We have 8″ of snow on the ground and it’s snowing again, so I am going to snuggle up and check out some link ups!!!!

Thanks for the party, Chloe. It’s still cold in Charleston, but nothing like it was two weeks ago with the snow and ice here! Hope you have a wonderful week.
Thank you Beverly, the south definitely experienced some real winter weather so far this season. I hope the trend towards warmer weather is here to stay now!
Thank you Chloe for your 111th Celebrate Your Story. Have a great week.
