Celebrate Your Story! #111

Link Party

Is it freezing where you are?  I have returned from my trip to Ohio and am back in sunny Florida.  We have had a little bit of cold for us, a nip of frost on the tips of my rosemary plants, but I hope all of you stay warm and cozy!  Speaking of warm and cozy, I have finally gotten myself in gear and have a cute hot chocolate bar I will be featuring this week, along with my first ever deco mesh project!  I hope you stop by!  Have a great week!

My first pick this week was Carol’s lovely wintery décor.  I love the simple and sophisticated looks she created, which are so welcoming after the busyness of the holidays.  Her sheep and scrabble “brrrr,” was very cute too! Check out more great pictures at The Red Painted Cottage.

I must have wreaths and winter on my mind, because I also chose this fabulous DIY project from Fair Meadow Place.  This great wreath was actually created from a scarf!  For all the instructions on making this pretty wreath for your own home, click on the link above.

If you are looking to create a wonderful smell in your home, look no further because Chas has presented a fabulous and natural solution!  Our most clicked link this week was this simmer pot from Chas’ Crazy Creations, which I am definitely trying out.

Are you starting to plan for a Super Bowl party?  If so, this might be a great dish to elevate your event while avoiding the same old jar of salsa or chip dip.  Sandra featured this delicious recipe for cheesy hot corn dip from The Kitchen is My Playground.  Head over to see all the delicious creations Tracey has been whipping up!

My foodie co-host Sandra also featured this yummy dish for must-have scalloped potatoes presented by Jas this week.  This recipe would be a delicious dish to accompany a great pork loin or fillet if you are feeling like indulging.  Stop by All That’s Jas for all the details!
