Celebrate Your Story! #115

Link Party

Valentine’s Day is upon us this week.  If you are looking for some fun, romantic, or creative last minute ideas you have come to the right place.  The Celebrate Your Story!- link parties are such a great way for us to share our ideas and talents, and I am so thankful to all the participants and visitors that make them a success.  I am happy that I will be with my Valentine this week, my husband of 37 years that has always been and continues to be my one and only!  Make Valentine’s Day what you want it to be whether that is treating yourself to some chocolates, sharing a romantic meal with your partner, or decorating cards with your kids.

My first feature from last week were these beautiful and delicate felt roses.  If you are looking to make something special and avoid the store bought route, head over to Our Crafty Mom for all the instructions on creating these gems!

Another great post from last week’s party came to us from master “Pieces” of my Life, which I loved because it showed how one decorative outdoor piece can be re-worked for every season and holiday. To find out what it was, click the link above!

Our most clicked link last week was this fun and festive Valentine’s Day tablescape.  To check out the adorable and heartfelt napkin rings Catherine created, and see how this design came together visit Smashing Plates Tablescapes!

I can always count on my foodie co-host Sandra to choose some amazing recipes to feature from our link parties.  Her first pick from last week was this healthy and delicious sweetheart salad.  For all the great details on this dish head over to Olla-Podrida’s blog Celebrating Life and Food!

Another fabulous find from last week’s party was this divine blackberry and cheese toast presented by Rosemary & Thyme.  It was wonderful to see some romantic recipes that were not based around candy or chocolate, but some healthy alternatives!
