If you are coming from My Thrift Store Addiction, welcome! I am once again honored to be among an amazing group of talented bloggers and home stylists. Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home. Please, take a moment and click on the links below my post today and see how we are all Springing Into Summer and styling our outdoor spaces! For me, from Memorial Day through Independence day, it is all about the RED, WHITE and BLUE!
Celebration, Florida is an all-American style community. I think my front porch just begs to be decorated for our national holidays. I actually wish the community parade went past my house! I could add even more pomp!
Candles that come on automatically are wonderful things, aren’t they? I picked up these lanterns at Home Depot. Topped with a patriotic bow they greet guests along with red geraniums in blue pots. When it gets to be as hot as it has been lately, I forgo real for artificial in these pots.
Red, white and blue bunting adorns the railing on the three sides of my wrap around porch.
I made a wreath of red and white hydrangeas and geraniums for my front door. A bow of blue ribbon with white stars has long streamers. Click on this link for the tutorial on How to Make a Patriotic Wreath.
Uncle Sam on a bicycle was a find from Michael’s last year and is a treasure I was looking forward to bringing out again this year! I dressed the table on my front porch with a patriotic throw, Uncle Sam and wooden stars and a wood cut out of Freedom. Holiday themed pillows deck the front porch chairs. American flags are planted in my plants, and above decorated with a wood cut out of Liberty.
Even the mailbox has gotten into the act, greeting my postal deliveries with red, white, blue and firecrackers!
Not to be left out the back porch got dressed for the holidays too. Will you be decorating your outdoor space for the holidays? Make sure you head on over and visit my friend Carol at Bluesky at Home!
Love your porch all decorated for th Patriotic Holidays of the Summer…I managed to just put out a few flags for Memorial Day…Hopefully, I will be more mobile by the 4th of July and can get out all of my decorations by then..
Hugs,
Deb

Thanks for sharing these decorating ideas! You have such a beautiful home and red, white, and blue decor compliments it perfectly! I love mailbox decor. I’m getting my kitchen and dining room redone by a cabinet refinisher next week and after that’s complete, I’ll get to decorate my home interior for the 4th of July!
