I decided early on to use gold with the green and white plates. An antique white tablecloth was the base for this pretty Christmas dining table. Gold and green mercury glass candles were going to add a beautiful nighttime shimmer to the table and my entire dining room!

I found these gold and white Christmas tree candles at my local At Home store! To keep with the elegant ambiance for this table, I selected white roses for my centerpiece and also tucked a single white rose into a green velvet ribbon serving as a napkin ring.

I have had these green chargers for years and they were perfect for showcasing the graceful green and white pattern on the dinner plate and salad plate.

I topped each plate stack with an Arbor Green appetizer plate and a gold mercury glass ornament tied with a green velvet ribbon.

For contrast on the tabletop, I used deep green sequined placemats as a table runner beneath my candles and a floral centerpiece of white roses.

The golden ornaments were gifted to friends as a reminder of this lovely dinner.

When evening came and the candles were all aglow, the dining room became magical. A lovely and elegant table for a holiday dinner for four!
