How to Create a Stunning Fall Pumpkin Floral Arrangement

There’s something magical about combining the beauty of fall florals with the rustic charm of a pumpkin. This DIY pumpkin arrangement is the perfect way to bring autumn indoors—or to your front porch! Using a faux pumpkin as the base, I’ve added layers of rich faux flowers, colorful leaves, and dried hydrangea blossoms for a look that’s full of texture and timeless fall beauty. The best part? Since everything is artificial, you can enjoy this arrangement year after year without worrying about it fading or spoiling.

Sometimes you want to mix things up which was the case with this fun cream and orange faux pumpkin. I have linked to this exact pumpkin at the bottom of this post! This is a 14 inch pumpkin which is perfect for a table centerpiece or decorative addition to a coffee table.

Cut three pieces of dry floral foam from a block of foam. Each block should be about 2 inches by 3 inches.

Use hot glue to attach the three blocks of foam to the top of your pumpkin as shown below. Take your stems of artificial fall leaves and stick them into them into the floral foam.

Before you begin sticking leaves into the top of the foam, tuck a little bit of Spanish moss onto the foam to hide it. Then, continue to tuck the leaves into the foam to fill it.

The next step is to begin to add your blooms. I mixed faux orange dahlias along with real dried hydrangea blossoms to add multiple textures and colors to my arrangement.

After adding all of the flowers I finished off my arrangement with some stems of mini pumpkins. You can add anything like this to customize your own arrangement. Think pumpkins, gourds, pine cones or acorns.

The arrangement looks beautiful on the banquette table in my kitchen! I will enjoy displaying this throughout my home all the way through Thanksgiving.
